We weren't great today but we'll take the win. I don't know how Said managed to miss the 1 that got squared to him, Maswanhise was poor as well to be honest should of scored the 1 on 1 he had and was really selfish in general. Slattery has been poor the last few games for me but is lasting 90 mins every week. Thought Nicholson looked really good when he came off the bench and made the second goal. Defensivley we were shaky to say the least they hit the post twice and Ward made a decent save I think easily 1 or 2 of them could have gone in and we'd be sat ruing our missed chances. Mcghee coming on at RM was interesting to say the least although he did put a decent ball in for Bjorgolfsson who I can't believe never gambled and tapped in RCC shot that went straight across the goal. We should have been out of sight at HT but how many times have we said that this season.

Not a classic and definitely not at our best today. Understandable after the efforts they put in on Wednesday. Sometimes you have to win dirty, three points is three points.

A game that could’ve been 5-0 or 5-5. It felt much like the Falkirk game earlier in the season but this time we hung on and killed the game at the end. Nice to get away with a less than perfect performance. the mark of champions?….

McGinn for me. Immense at the back.

That game was made much more difficult than it needed to be. After a tough, initial 20mins, Motherwell took control and should have been out of sight by half time. Just scored a lovely goal followed by the team having a series of missed chances. We really do have to improve our finishing. So many really decent opportunities were passed up. Even when not playing very well in the 2nd half, we still made chances and passed them up until Sam Nicholson did brilliantly in the final minute of the match to setup the 2nd goal (an OG). We were a bit fortunate in the 2nd half with some resilient defending and a bit of luck preventing Aberdeen from drawing level in the 2nd half. Still, winning by any means is still 3 points. 47 points at this stage means that the top 6 is pretty much assured, Europe is a real possibility, and a very high league position is still very much there for the taking. COYW!!!!

11 games unbeaten at fortress fir park,astonishing,not our best today on a difficult surface and helped by some luck and poor finishing by aberdeen,big performance needed on wednesday.

A difficult one today; Just, Longelo and McGinn were the pick of the bunch for me I'll give it to Just, even though he was withdrawn in the 2nd half.

Priestman and McGinn both had excellent games, and i thought Slattery was really good as well, particularly after that relatively early booking. I went with Longelo though as he was excellent defensively, nullifying Olysanya for the most part, and made some really dangerous runs with the ball throughout the game.

Also went for Longelo today, but close run thing.

There pitch aint going to help us thats for sure. Its going to be a battle. We need to be more clinical and continue to have that bit of luck.

Think you can add Priestman and Sparrow as good performances today. Went for Priestman. His workrate is brilliant.
