Nope.
-
At the moment he’s definitely not the type of player to benefit us. From what I’ve seen and speaking to normal rangers fans I know they feel Rangers have destroyed him and his confidence. He’s also cursed with the Lennon miller comparison constantly which is a weight to carry for a young player. (Not that i feel sorry for him as that’s on him and his father) unless he’s coming to us permanently …. Even then I’m not sure…I see zero point in a loan deal where this will only really benefit rangers and potentially Rice.
-
I know. We can never just sit back relax and enjoy us playing well. We just keep on waiting to collapse and be disappointed. I mean we have gone 9 games unbeaten and deservedly so. We know we will loose at some point and that will definitely be disappointing but please don’t let it be against SK’s team!! I really, really hope we give them a thumping and strike a victory for playing good football over dull negative kick and hope stuff that has been the bane of Scottish football for so many years now.

Did Miller get any game time?
-
Haven’t seen him at all and so have no idea if he’s the type of player that would benefit us or not. Like most people are saying, regardless of how good Rice is, I’d much rather use our resources to get a starting centre back.
-
I'm hearing Thier fans not to bothered if he does or not. Don't think they overly impressed.

Thank God, I thought you were going to say grease , if your singing is as bad as your jokes Travolta has nothing to worry about.

According to today's BBC gossip Rangers want Rice to sign a new contract before they allow him to go out on Loan Rangers want midfielder Bailey Rice, 18, to sign a new deal before sending him out on loan. (Herald - subscription required)

I'm trying to get rid of a few Baily Rice from under my decking. Ideas welcome.
-
I thought I'd seen every disappointment I could have in my many years following them but even I was surprised at losing a 3-0 lead Tynecastle in 25 mins.
-
I like Ward. You can see he's vocal and an organiser of the defense and he's also comfortable with the ball at his feet. My only issue is he reminds me very much of Kelly. Not the tallest, weak at cross balls and generally reluctant to come off his line. Ox was flying before his last injury. I'd be more than happy to see him back between sticks.
-
A pessimistic attitude, without going full blown MJC is the best solution for following Motherwell, it means you never get disappointed 😃
-
I think we have one already when McGhee is match fit, given he can allegedly play at centre half, time will tell.
-
I see George Long (2015 play-off keeper) has just moved from Norwich to Southampton on loan. I thought he was down in the lower reaches these days. Good to hear and will done him!
-
I don't think we'll be looking for another goalie tbh. We would recall Matty if we wanted another option surely? Also think for all the errors on Saturday Ward made a couple of very decent saves to keep us from losing
-
3 Yr deal and certainly a lot of potential. I wonder if we will be looking to move Halliday on as chances seem more limited
-
Likewise as a fan but fortunately JBA hasn’t shown any sign of that type of thinking and seems to be instilling that belief in the players. I think all of them will want to ‘make amends’ for not winning at Hearts - not just one player. oh and I doubt they’ll give a flying f about Kettlewell.
-
A centre-half next please.
-
My fear too, its the Motherwell way 😂
-
I’d love to see a big crowd this weekend and plenty of colour on show. I know I’m dragging a few people to fir park who don’t normally attend regularly and are looking forward to it. really looking forward to this……. That could be the kiss of death right enough.
-
Agreed.

This game give me the fear.... 1. We are playing great stuff 2. We need a win to round off all the positives 3. We have been getting unprecedented good comment from the media 4. We will probably get a bigger than normal home support. 5. Every Motherwell fan will be desperate to see us put one over "Eddie Munster" 6. Expectation is high I said to my mates all week we wouldn't lose at Tynecastle having seen Hearts I wasn't impressed. However I just have a feeling of foreboding that Kilmarnock will piss on our parade. Hopefully not 🤞

Oscar Moncrieff Priestman. Clearly a bit of Jock in there somewhere!!

Totally agree we need at least 1 CB, probs 2. I wonder if he is also looking at a goalie as it appears he doesn't think Ox can play with his feet and Ward hasn't been great at shot stopping?
