  1. Today
  2. Cheers pal. So basically once i bought them I would then get all the tickets sent to my Hampden app and I then transfer them to each person?
  3. Yes, inside the Hampden App there is a transfer button that you'd use to send the tickets, the email address you send them to must be the ones your "gang" set up their Hampden app.
  4. I think as it's v no old firm I think it might go over 20,000. Plus we have seen great increase in crowds thanks to the JBA factor
  5. Looking for some advice folks ( no not how to tell a decent joke!!). With our usual Saturday gang plus some extras we are looking to buy 10 tickets. If say I bought them would I then just email 9 of them to the rest as long as they download Hampden tickets app?
  6. I see a few St Mirren fans wanking themselves into oblivion because they sold more tickets than us yesterday. They should sell more than us their town has twice the population of Motherwell. My guess is a crowd of 16/17000.. we will be in the region of 7000/7500. Of course if we have 3 good results before the game we might go a bit higher.
  7. I'd also point out that lots of the older generation are pretty familiar and comfortable with technology. I understand both sides of the argument, but as things inevitably transition, the best thing we can do is help the people that need it as much as we can.
  8. I think a well win would surprise you going by your usual predictions 🤣🤣
  9. I’ll wait until the international break is over. Hopefully we don’t pick up any more injuries in the meantime and we can get some players back. What I would say though is that no result would surprise me from this game.
  10. Oh I definitely agree with that. There is undoubtedly "social engineering" ongoing to get every facet of our life online and electronically controlled. Some of it is good and can make a lot of things easier. Others, it could be suggested, could be used for more nefarious purposes. Regardless, the way the older generation are being left to "like it or lump it" doesnt sit well.......
  11. I think Falkirk will bring a decent crowd and it will be a tough game but no reason we can’t get 3 points if we play well. Having a few players back from injury will be a big boost for us and should help us maintain pressure on Falkirk for the whole game. Not writing Falkirk off but I hope we can get some goals in the first half amd see the game out in second half in a comfortable manner, well, as comfortable as it can be for a Motherwell team 😳
  12. I think for the majority of people it’s fine, if I were just going myself or with my kid, great no problem, it’s the modern way of things. We just download and app and accept it is what it is. my issue is with older people and I know many who are completely lost in the modern world and rely heavily on others. Football and going to football is the only enjoyment in their life usually and they are being made feel like sh1t and made feel like they can’t go to games such as this. Part of their life was nipping up to the ticket office and getting a ticket… easy. Now they go up and no fault to the staff there, they are being punted to find someone elsewhere who can help them out. It’s a shame and for us as a community club I think we are alienating a dedicated fan base of oldies who we should be supporting.
  13. Hopefully a few players back after the international break. Even if they dont feature from the start it will be nice to have more cover from the bench. Having Slattery, Just, Sparrow and Hendry able to come on to freshen things up would be a huge boost. With Welsh available again and surely straight back into the side, it also gives us McGinn, SoD, Priestman, Balmer, Halliday as cover. Thats a really strong bench, and where we probably hoped we would be after the window "slammed shut" 😉 Falkirk are likely to play attacking and open so it should be a really entertaining game and might work to our advantage. A high scoring Motherwell win for me.
  14. Leave him be! Thats as close to MJC tipping a Motherwell win as any of us should be comfortable with! No need to respond MJC! I prefer ifs, buts and maybes!
  15. The system IS pretty straight forward. Albeit the instructions are far from clear. I go to Scotland games, so Im fairly comfortable with the Hampden App, which does actually work quite well. Season ticket holders can buy for themselves and as many others as they like. All they need to do is download the Hampden App and link it to the same email your season ticket is linked to. During the week of the game all the tickets will be sent to your app. You can then scan in all your group before entering yourself. If you want to distribute the tickets, get each member of your group to download the Hampden App and link an email. You can then send them the ticket via the app. If you are buying for other season ticket holders, you get the opportunity to provide their details when buying the tickets. If they also have the Hampden App, I presume the ticket will go straight to their app during the week of the game, although Im not 100% on that as Ive never done it before. If not you can still distribute as above. It is a bit of a faff on first use, but once you understand it, it really is pretty simple. I do get why people are getting annoyed though. It is a lot of change to get used to. Also, never had an issue with the QR code at the gate. Unlike the paper copies which preceded the app, which were a nightmare to scan.
  16. The only way Ward won’t start this one will be if he picks up an injury, which of course going by our luck on that front is always a possibility. He is clearly the managers first choice and he is seen as the better at playing the style JBA wants us to play, regardless of what happened on Sunday. We have to win this one, no two ways about it. We have one league win to our name and that needs to change otherwise all of our improved play and the undoubted good football we have played so far will become more and more in vain. And at home, against Falkirk we should be winning this one and anything less will be unacceptable.
  17. I'd like to think so. That's been one of the best things about recent changes, the crowds have genuinely shifted for the first time in about 20 years. That's why it's so important to get returns for the way we are playing. The additional 2000 home fans we've been getting ain't locked in punters. We need to keep them coming back. Slip up against Falkirk and Livi and the doubts in these people minds will see them drift. Clowns like me will always be there, so they really could do anything and I'd go. I'd moan like fuck about it but I'd go. These extras fans ain't as daft as me. Scotland could also help with a decent couple of results, instilling a feel good factor that might help all the clubs.
  18. Welsh should return but not sure who will drop out as both mcginn and Gordon played well at weekend. If Ward starts then it's last chance saloon and I worry if team mates have lost confidence in giving him the ball. If he has another howler then Ox deserves at least the chance to prove himself. COYW
  19. All sorted thanks to lovely girl at ticket office. Reset my login so I can now access all ticket areas. Bet ye can all relax now that my issues resolved 🤣🤣🤣 COYW
  20. Apologies for rant yesterday. Still having same issues when I go online do will phone club. It is only letting me buy tickets for singing section where of course atmosphere will be great. I am too old for that section these days and after a few jokes I would get chucked oot. 🤣🤣 Will phone club
  21. There also appears to an inconsistency in the instructions: Step 3 – Get Ready for Matchday Once you have the Hampden Park tickets app and have purchased your ticket via the Motherwell FC online ticketing platform, your ticket will show up in the Hampden App. The QR code will go live on the morning of the game. We strongly recommend you open and load your ticket at home before leaving for the match as this will save inconvenience at the turnstiles. Using the Hampden Tickets App Download the App (phones only, not tablets). Register with your ticket email. Accept terms. Allow Bluetooth/contacts if you want to transfer tickets easily. Verify – a 6-digit code will be emailed to you every time you log in. Find your tickets – they’ll appear in “My Tickets” (the week of the game, or within minutes if you buy last-minute). At the moment I don't have anything on the Hampden app but have received an email from the Club saying I've purchased tickets.
  22. At the semi final last year, one of our party had cause to ask a steward for advice, outside the stadium. His colleague had to intervene however as the original steward didn't speak any English.
  23. Hopefully the errors will be ironed out the more games we play and everyone will be settling into our style of play. We are a relatively new team with a new style. It takes time to gel and I think we have done very well thus far. Looking for a proper result from this game with Welsh back in the team but Falkirk are no mugs . 3-1 to the good guys.
