I hear what you're saying but if we stunt a players progress , they may down tools...faddy / manny dont seem that type to be fair. Don't keep that much of an eye on English game but ive heard villa have sold a whack of players....are they in financial trouble?
-
Apparently we teied to sign Levitt in Jan also. Another midfielder, but doesn't necessarily mean Fadinger is outgoing. It helps enhance the squad for load balancing, whether is be matchday rotation, or subs. Levitt >< Hodge Fadinger >< Priestman
-
Miovski hasn’t fitted in at Rangers and I don’t recall him being a player who works hard when his teams out of position - although I could be wrong - so Im not sure about him.
-
It means he has a 2 year contract, but there is a clause where the club can trigger a year extension at the end of it if they so wish.
-
I think we would if the offer was right. But neither Celtic nor Rangers view our players as being good value for what we are asking. If they did, Jens would be Celtic manager, Just would be wearing the hoops and Watt would be turning out for Rangers.
-
I guess its good advice. But when you have the chairman going public saying we wont sell all our good players at the one time, you kinda hold out hope that we wont lose everyone. Losing Ward, Watt, Just & Slattery was tough enough in the one window. If we end up losing Longelo, Fadinger & Maswanhise as well, that will be really hard to take. It could be worse, my English team could be Aston Villa, oh wait! 🫣🫣🫣

I think we would sell to anyone if the right offer came in. That includes from Scotland. If Rangers offered 2 or 3 million for Maswanhise would we really say no? Or 1.5m plus Miovski on loan?
-
Yes but I dont expect us to sell to another Scottish club. All the other major european windows shut tonight.
-
Does anyone know what happened with him at Leyton? Signed 2026 and only played 8 games.
-
As the window in most of Europe along with England closes today, unless we are selling to another Scottish team, which is very unlikely the Thursday close should not be a problem.
-
Heard an interesting quote supposedly from Tony Bloom at Hearts, " dont get attached to the players ". The model hearts and ourselves are using means players are going to be passing through all the time and if they aren't moving on for good money, they're not good enough. You can't help liking big Manny and Faddy but its the football world we are operating in.
-
Also could mean Booth and maybe Whyte going out on loan but I epuld rather keep whyte in first team squad
-
my mates just said the same thing and thats a possibility.
-
I know the name but Levitt is someone I know little about. Hopefully he’s a good signing. I am a bit concerned about Fadinger now. Really do not want to lose him. When everyone was gushing over just and Slattery I felt he was more important to the team as a whole. Be gutted if he were to leave.
-
Unless maybe Priestman going to be out longer than anticipated.
-
I am very uncomfortable with that first paragraph.......far too upbeat 🤣🤣🤣
-
Apologies, I got this wrong, It appears that Levitt is more of a deep lying defensive midfielder. Not sure of the significance of that in terms of potential departures.
-
You've a bit longer to wait buddy. The Scottish Transfer window closes at 5pm on Thursday.
-
Well, I didnt see that one coming! Not sure we really needed another midfielder, but as others have said, it may signify that Fadinger is outgoing. That would be a hard one to take, but if he does go we will certainly get good money for him given he just signed a contract extension. Hopefully it doesnt come to that and we are just going all in for a title push this season! (I am joking). Its gonna be a nervy 24 hours (I dont expect us to sell anyone to another Scottish club). If we can get through it unscathed, Im really excited about the season ahead and what this team could achieve. Re Maswanhise. I kinda agree with others that we should accept any reasonable bid, purely as he is entering the last year of his contract and losing him for nothing next season would be silly. It would leave us short on the attacking side though, so we would still need a replacement in. So we should be careful what we wish for. Roll on midnight!

Pleased with Dylan Levitt. That gives us more more attacking options. An odd type of signing though as I thought we were well off for attacking midfielders. Departures to come?
-
My fear is losing Fadinger and/ or Longello . Maswanhise I couldn't care less about if the moneys good.
-
Hope hes a good plumber cos hes never a striker. The fact his loan club have shown no interest in signing him despite given the option to buy suggests he did fuck to impress at Sydney. Id take the hit and cancel his contract.
-
Really chuffed with Levitt signing, as long as he stays injury free he’ll be a great addition. I don’t see us getting through the window unscathed without losing one or more key player unfortunately with Fadinger and Longelo being the most obvious ones but will be will be. Maswanhise hasn’t kicked his own backside since February so if we get a decent bid in for him then we’ll have done well out of that one.
-
Got it in one...Stama! Was back on bench against Freiburg, never got on, walked down the tunnel instead of coming onto the pitch to applaud the fans with the rest of the players. I have been told by sources at the club he isn't interested and wants to go back home, so time to move him on!

That’s exactly what I thought when I seen this…
