4th spot is ours to lose now. Anything less would be a disappointment.
-
We have to beat Hibs and Falkirk at Home and that will secure 4th from that point if we pick up another 4 points from the other 7 games we'll be 4th on 63 points I doubt Hibs or Falkirk will get to that tally.

I really hope that we take something from this game to make sure that the season doesn't become derailed after the result yesterday. It has been such a great season so far, I'd hate for it to end in anti-climax. Let's push on and secure a European place as quickly as possible.
-
We’ll get pumped by at least three. Bubble status: Burst
-
Probably not. Anything we do take from the game will be a bonus. The usual free hit.
-
Still too early after yesterday’s deflation I’ll revisit this thread on Thursday night
-
Usually half'full attitude but I cant see us getting anything
-
Spot on , my thoughts as well its been a joy to come to Fir Park this season and watch the football we have been playing, long may it continue.

Its going to be a real struggle to hold onto 4th place. All our remaining games are against fellow top 6 sides and here's our record against them this season. Hearts: 2 draws. Celtic: 1 win 1 loss Rangers: 2 draws 1 loss Hibs: 1 win 1 draw Falkirk: 1 draw 1 loss In total, thats 2 wins, 6 draws and 3 defeats. We're unbeaten against Hearts and Hibs but haven't beaten Falkirk, Rangers or Hearts. Having said that, I'm delighted that we've managed to finish in the top 6. Anything above that is the icing on the cake. If we manage to finish 4th I'll be over the moon and if its 5th I'll be delighted. To put things in perspective, at the start of the season, I was hoping to finish 7th this term as that would represent progress. We've achieved that and more. Our away from has been fair no better this season and I felt that going into yesterday's game many were overconfident.

I cant believe some of the stuff I am reading seems to me folk cant see progress just want to piss and moan about anything christ we could win the league and Scottish Cup folk would still wet the bed we didn't win the treble. We might not have won anything but give me this season over any season we have had recently that's for sure.
-
We lost our 4th of the league in March - can’t ever recall saying that before . we are building momentum who knows how long it will continue . I’m not overly concerned about the need to bounce back - we lost a game where the opponents took their chances . im assuming we’ll continue to focus on what we do well and we can enjoy the rest of the season . oddly now the pressure is off - no more talk of winning the league - be great to cement 4th spot
-
We were very poor and fair play to dundee, they worked so hard and squeezed the game, quite a few players coudnt cope with the lack of space and time on the ball.pressley set his side out with the plan to nullify us and his players carried it out to perfection, theyre the best bottom six team ive seen.
-
Yes!
-
Can we get back on track with a win here? COYW
- Yesterday
-
We will now learn a bit more about the character of this squad with regard to how they react to this setback. They have been nothing short of magnificent this season and I have faith that they can collectively bounce back and produce the form they have shown for the past few months. Keep the faith and continue to learn and improve, one game at a time.

Yeah, as you say, the idea of a trade-off is purely hypothetical. I get why folk are pissed off about the cup exits, but I'm not gonnae let them waste what has - for me - been an amazing season. Today was another absolute pisser, but nothing's over until it's over, so bring on next week.
-
success in terms of silverware will always be a longshot because as soon as clubs like us get success the manager and players ae taken from us. That is why its so infuriating when we fuck up when a tournament opens up for us. Rangers and Celtic will never both be as bad in the same season for many years to come. So therefore Id bite your hand off for just one more success before I die and if that trade off if eye bleeding shite for a season I'd take it. That is not to say I don't support and enjoy what were are doing . The question of "what would you take .a great season or relegation and a cup win.." was always a hypothetical , its never an offer that will ever be presented to us.
-
Crowds haven't gone up this season because we won the cup in 1991. The hope is, if we carry on down this path, success will follow. If someone said we'd have a better chance of winning a cup were Robinson to return, with his footballing philosophy in tow, I'd say, no thanks. I realise some would roll out the welcome mat.
-
Yeah but the damage has been undone , Silverware is permanent form and status are fluid.
-
I saw it, and I remember it. I also remember being relegated twice, and the years of damage that did to the club. To each their own.
-
Well strictly speaking, yes! The team scoring the most goals deserves to win but I get what you are saying.
-
We need to be up for it to keep Hibs at bay. They play Livingston while we play Celtic so we are realistically going into a head to head with Hibs with only 4 points between us.
-
100% and thats also true of finishing in the top 3. Its just unrealistic and not going to happen.
-
Ive never been in the camp that we could win the league , you just needed to look at our remaining fixtures before today and we' realistically needed to win 9 of our remaining 10 games. That meant winning at Celtic Park, Tynecastle , Ibrox , Easter Road and Celtic and Hearts at Fir Park , In no world was that EVER going to happen.
