  1. Past hour
  2. Interesting how Watt’s performance has split opinion. I wonder what the his expected role is. I can see him more in a deeper role initiating the play with Slatts and Faddy expected to be more dynamic in their movement. Tonight it didn’t quite click between them.
  3. Yeah, and that was another one tonight, but at least we got the win (just).
  4. Any chance we could stick to football chat please?
  5. Maswanhise was definitely more effective on Saturday. Although, tbf, Peterhead kept a good defensive shape that kept space behind to a minimum.
  6. It's not me that cracks the jokes to be fair.....
  7. Just shows you how people can see things differently. I thought Watt shows promise and played a couple of passes that with better movement ahead could have led to something. And thought Maswanhise offered little when he came on. His pace is a tfreat but seemed unwilling to try and beat his man. Goal aside, I also wasn't convinced by Longelo although I agree Fadinger shows promise. Don't think he's a winger though...
  8. True, not writing him off by any means, only that I didn’t think he had anywhere near a β€˜superior player’ type of game.
  9. Just listened to JBA's post match and he mentioned AP needs better crosses to be effective. He definitely looks more effective with the ball in front of him.
  10. Fadinger, with Watt a close second.
  11. The maths bit was a lot more humorous than most of your jokes tho .
  12. If we're still going to play with wingbacks, the two in the middle are going to have to be bloody good along with the sweeperkeeper behind them.
  13. Early days for Watt, but I was encouraged that at least he was getting involved and didn't hide.
  14. Just home and not entirely sure what to make of that, so I’ll stick to the positives and negatives. Positives Watt and Fadinger look like tidy additions to the midfield. Connelly looked fairly comfortable on his first start β€” barely tested, but not at fault for their goal. Manny could be moulded into a diamond with time. Just is a tricky wee player who I reckon will be useful in certain games. Slattery’s cross for the goal. Negatives The defence. Again. Jesus Christ. Wilson β€” what on earth has happened to him? I’m not sure how Sparrow fits into this team now. Stama is either crap or not being used to his strengths. The rain.
  15. Fadinger had a bit of bite, some deft touches, and good movement into the box and finally got reward.
  16. When I was learning to drive, my mum used to make me drive her to Fine Fare on late night opening Wednesdays "for practice". Or it might have been Gateway by then. Back to the football - we need two new central defenders ASAP.
  17. Surprised you mentioned Watt. I thought he had a couple of good touches but I thought largely ineffective and wasteful.
  18. It wasn't a maths tutorial, it was mostly needed for doing the messages at Fine Fare.
  19. Well aye. This is what happens when you aren't around to crack jokes...
  20. Fadinger looks like he was designed to play JBA's game.
  21. A real slog tonight but we got there in the end. We tried to do the pressing game but too often the passing was slack and broke down. Peterhead kept it really tight at the back and we struggled with it . Be interested to see how we fare against teams who open out but no doubt there are still improvements needed. However if you were the guy at the back of section F in the Hunter stand who abused nearly every player you need to get a grip. Boo'd SOD onto the park , never left Euan Wilson with a name and berated Gordon most of the game. We were all feeling frustrated but fuck me you were way over the top.
  22. Have I logged onto a maths tutorial website by mistake? Jeez!!! Regards Grizzlyg 1.626 metres and 67.585kg πŸ˜…πŸ˜…
  23. No chance 🀣 big ox is 6 feet 5 so maybe the sooner he's back in goals the better.
