  1. Past hour
  2. I'd put money on 4 of these not being on any list at Motherwell.
  3. Would love to see MVG as next manager. It just seems like something that has to happen once. I think he would bring a similar vibe and presence as JBA and I prefer using first letter name abbreviations rather than Kettlewell, Alexander, Robinson, McGhee etc. It feels so much more continental. I don't think he would have seriously considered it a year ago but Jens has made the club a much more enticing proposition now.
  4. Today
  5. They need to create a few stories, ideally with OF links, to keep the clicks coming during the quiet period before the World Cup.
  6. I don't know why the media are bothering speculating our new manager will be appointed mid june and probably won't be linked with the job until he's announced
  7. All you need to know about The Record is that they proudly announced van der Gaag as our new boss about an hour before we formally announced JBA.
  8. IFAB disagrees: At the moment of delivering the ball, the thrower must: have part of each foot on the touchline or on the ground outside the touchline
  9. Woodward and Bernstein can rest easy. Valakari: Not from what I've seen, and unlikely he'd move. van der Gaag: Jesus wept, not again. Thelin: Definitely not. McGlynn: Not sure he could take us any higher than we already are. Same old, same old, with a predictably awful record against the top 3 this season. Jensen: Who knows? And whether it's him or another new face, that's the exciting part.
  10. I think we ought to start our own rumours as surely we can do a better job than some of the papers at this rate 🤔 I spent time scrolling through transfermarkt and have a few names I could punt out there 😂
  11. The Daily Record has our top 5 list . Valakari and Van Der Gaag along with Jimmy Thelin and John McGlynn. The other guy is Henrik Jensen the Burnley assistant . Apparently a clone of Jens Berthel Askou
  12. Maybe rod stewsrt is a possibility? The dinner was for discussions? Sure he could do a job.
  13. Rules are clear your feet must be behind the white lines
  14. Yesterday
  15. Ralston’s heel was on the line so it wasn’t a foul throw. There were plenty of issues with the penalty decision but that wasn’t one of them.
  16. 6 points next season + weve to shut up bout refs 😂😂
  17. How much did Celtic ask for?
  18. As they as they are a good replacement, I'm OK with waiting.
  19. Let’s hope for a speedy replacement then

    Our New Manager

Cheapest club in the World. If they were a person they’d be Tam from Still Game
  21. I don't know why they even bother with those. Maybe it appeases their fans.

    Our New Manager

Apparently Celtic made an offer to Motherwell with regards compensation. Shock and horror that it was derisory and we said “no thanks and go away”
  23. Even of they didn't know, succession planning is standard business practice and something the Board should be implementing for every position.
  24. That ties up well with what Andy Halliday said, before the announcement was made. No smoke without fire?
  25. I'm no expert, but if I was on the Board at Fir Park the last person I'd be sharing confidential business details with is Tam.
  26. Tam also said JBA rejected offer from sellik. Not really convinced as he was happy entertaining Rod Stewart. Time will tell who we get
  27. Tam on off the ball on sat saying he knows for a fact that the directors knew JBA was going at the end of the season and had already been on it but the curve ball was that JBA then gave them a couple of names that he would reccomend to take over and carry on that style of play and everything he had set up he wouldnt give any names when pushed but did say he had txts to prove anybody know any good phone hackers 😜👍
