One of their forums quoted just over 4000 with 1500 away fans. Sounds about right.

Does anyone know the attendance yesterday? St Johnstone has been reluctant to release any figures.
- Today

Surely that's not 2 big teams he has now π€

Yep what I was really meaning was we get either Rangers or Celtic , and when we eventually do beat one of them in the 2017 semi we get Celtic in the final Other teams seem to get a more favourable run , which could explain how they have won silverware and we haven't Hopefully it will change soon -
MJC still β€οΈπ Hearts.
-
I get what youβre saying but the reality is that youβre going to have to beat one of them if you want to win a Cup or even just get to a final. We did it in β91 by beating Celtic in the Semis and of the examples you mentioned Falkirk beat Celtic in the SFs before they lost to Killie in 97 (Killie obviously got lucky there), St.Mirren beat Celtic in the LCSF before beating Hearts in the final and Ross County did the same in 2016 before beating Hibs. And of course we beat Rangers 2-0 in the League Cup Semis in 2017.

One thing that frustrates me about the cups for 20-30 years now When we lose early in a competition, one or both Glasgow mobs go out early also Any time we progress and get through they do the same then we meet at Hampden , I'd love to get to a final without playing either of them in it like 1991 Killie v Falkirk 1997 , St Mirren v Hearts , Ross County v Hibs etc etc -
My Favourite fixture of every season. Nothing better than beating them at Tynecastle , those instances are rare. Dont know enough about Hearts this season to make a call but it will be hard. I'd take a point now if offered.

No. McGinn was but SOD is one of a few players who will take the captaincy if for any reason McGinn can't play
-
Was ODonnell captain yesterday? Have I missed that heβs taken over the captaincy from McGinn? heβs been doing really well, long may it continue. In the words of yogi hughes βheβs a gid big honest laddie.β

No doubt this will be a very tough game, but we have won there in the past, and no reason why we cant again That's if we can start converting more chances
-
Thatβs the one I remember
-
It will be interesting to see how each team adjusts after the first game. It will be a good indication of JBAs tactical nous.
-
Nothing to fear in Aberdeen. Have they not only won 6 in 24 or something?
-
Not a bad draw getting Aberdeen who are no great shakes so far this season. It will be a tough one but no reason we canβt go up there and get the win but we need to address the striker issue between now and the end of the window for that to happen. And as a side issue, as always seems to happen when we draw Aberdeen in a Cup, we are playing them the week after at Fir Park in the league so it becomes a double header against them.
-
You think Forest would send us Chris Wood on loan to keep Osong company? One half played and he's already on 2 goals for the season.
-
I admire your faith in the VAR officials.
-
Same here but the penalty would have been given if it was in operation.. Hate it when it's there and miss it when it isn't especially if a decision goes against you. Que sera.
-
Despite all the poor decisions yesterday, I enjoyed not having VAR.
-
He was pretty poor for both teams. The camera work wasn't great on SOD's claim, but he's never been one for diving, so at worst it should have been a simple "no pen". The St Johnstone player was looking for the one at the end and fell over as soon as there was contact. Never a pen in my view - but with so many other poor decisions, would not have been surprised if it had been given.
-
Slattery seems to be the only one our players who has figured out Stama needs the ball in front of him facing the goals. I can see him having a double digit season. I'm not surprised SOD has been doing OK under the new system. For all his faults, he was always comfortable with the ball at his feet and could pick out a man with a pass. I went for Just, though, who must have covered about 10 miles yesterday.
-
Again? Ok
-
And every other competitive game bar St Mirren. Not to say we don't need another strike option, but historically we have always matched up well against Hearts and I expect this to be a typical close one.
-
No reason why we can't go there and get a positive result. If we can just be more clinical then a win can be achieved. COYW

He was apparently at the game yesterday and the rumour is that he's signed for us
