  1. Past hour
  2. Priestman for me, but there were several others that would be hard to argue against, Just, Fadinger, Longello & McGinn were all outstanding. Said (AKA Captain Chaos) is an absolute pleasure to watch. McColm looked like he could slot right into our system, I'm looking forward to seeing more from him between now and May.
  3. Same outlook as Hibs the other week. Physicality and brute force. We got wise and moved the ball quicker. Game over
  4. Not sure Kilmarnock were by far the better team in the first 20 but surprised how well they done to begin with. Didn't see any of our players claiming offside for their goal and very sweet it was disallowed especially given who scored. Good to see us being a bit relentless and run up a score. Encouraged Björgólfsson got an assist and looks he might offer something a bit different. Thought the laddie McColm looked quite assured in the short time he was on.
  5. I was thinking it has played better than it looks the last couple of games. (Maybe just need to spray some green paint on it)
  6. Not aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but, it’s certainly not cutting up and plays fast.
  7. I’m hoping with no games at fir park until the rangers game that the groundsmen manage to get it back in good nic. It’s the worst I’ve seen it in a few years, weather hasn’t been great for it though.
  8. Today
  9. They definitely have the look of the relegated. Some teams hover around the bottom, but still look like they have something to offer. Dundee are one, and as poor as St Mirren have been, you expect them to pull off a result when they need it. Kille and Livi looked doomed. Although I expect a very tough game at Livi next week, as it's never an easy place to play.
  10. Spoilt for choice today from The Usual Suspects but I thought Priestman did and excellent Elliot Watt impersonation. Even Longelo, who had gone off the boil, seemed to get forward much more today and was a real pest down the left in the second half. Giving it to Priestman, who has a three-year contract with us, I am pleased to say.
  11. Totally agree. Once we scored there was only going to be one winner. Killie were slow/lazy off the ball and lack quality. Their hoof ball, chase and kick everything in sight approach got the result they deserved. If your on a booking, dont dive in to tackles. What about Deas rugby tackle on JT not getting a yellow card. It seems ex pundit getting it easy when he has been found wanting. Killie are easily one of the poorest teams in the league.
  12. I so miss the forum of a year ago where we thought everyone in the team should be shot on sight and the manager needed strung up from the floodlights Said nobody ever...
  13. Can we please get an option for everyone
  14. They were better for the first 20 mins or so, but I thought we picked it up after that. Better, of course, is relative, because they only had 1 shot on target over the 90 minutes.
  15. Don’t think McCann was far wrong that killie were the better side until the red whether they could keep up the tempo in the 2nd half is a different story, offside goal was marginal & they hit the bar good result & we’re defo missing watt feel like the big boy up front could touch the ball 3 times a game, movement looked good but we won’t put it in for him
  16. He was on the bench. I think with the way the game panned out he wasn't needed and it let us put 1 more of the youngsters on.
  17. I'm OK with a manager sticking up for his players, especially in Killie's position. He wasn't correct. They set up in a way most of us weren't expecting, but I thought we had regained control some time before the sending off. Even if the goal counted, I think we had enough to go on to win the game.
  18. Agree on Longelo. Not man of the match but a much much better performance from him. Also thought Slattery had a much better game today. Going for Just.
  19. We started slow probably lucky to be 2 up at HT between the disallowed goal and the header of the bar but second half when they went down to 10 we used the ball really well and scored 2 more good goals. Bjorgolfsson reminds me a bit of Van Veen so hopefully he comes good in time.
  20. Probably just part of his recovery to full fitness. No point in overloading him so soon.
  21. He was on the bench so maybe just making sure he didn’t get Crocked by Killlie player.
  22. Yes. We are brilliant and that was easy.
  23. Priestman again for me, but I could’ve given it to Slattery or Just. Plenty of good performances today.
  24. Might have missed it earlier but was there any reason for McGhee missing today
  25. Just for me. He always seems to have time to turn and find room to make a pass. Well supported by Fadinger, Priestman and SOD.
  26. Was out wondering about Los Cristianos this morning before the game. Some arse in a Celtic top shouted to me as I walked past that 'that boy mashoney had signed for them this morning for a mullyin pounds'. Imagine my relief when i went back to the flat to watch the game and found out he didn't mean Maswanhise 🙂 Tough first 20 mins or so but after the disallowed goal, the opener and the sending off, it was all us. At one point in the second half (think it was still 2-0) I thought we were going to end up with 90% possession ! Been here since 7th Jan and my Motherwell top is undefeated so far. Hopefully that keeps up at least until I go home 🙂
