Folk on twitter seem to think we're signing Ronan Hale I mean I certainly wouldn't say no based on his goal tally from last season as long as the fee is minimal.

Let's just imagine we had a young fit Louis Moult up front for us . Or anyone who knows what positions to be in and how to score with half a chance not just sitters. Wow.

Fair points on Longelo

Just adding my own perspective on longelo as think he’s a decent player . Personal view is the left hand side of the pitch is an area we lack balance , therefore quite a bit of expectation for longelo to cover a lot of ground . Particularly today where rangers are pretty strong on their right hand side . for contrast on the right we have JK but he’s supported by Said , Just and Sparrow who have a tendency to be on the right . The times longelo has been at his best he has RCC on the left to support him . Appreciate we all see the game differently - just wanted to chuck my 2 cents in . Overall key that we find a different striker if we want to kick on and get top 4

8pm kick off on what will be a holiday for most. I fear for the seats in the Tommy McLean Stand.

Of the outfield players I thought Fadinger had a good game. But obviously its Ward......

Celtic are very good going forward. But they are wide open at the back. If we can get the balance of possession/attack right we could well get something from this. Could be a high scoring encounter. Please let us score 1 more than them!

Great first 20 minutes. Absolutely bossed them. But if you dont score when you are on top its gonna come back and bite you. The middle third of the game we were second best. Too many forced passes not coming off instead of trying to keep possession and settle it down again. Said was awful until the last 20 minutes. Slattery not much better when he came on. Both gave the ball away far too easily. I get that they play high risk football a lotnof the time and when it comes off its great, but when you are under pressure, just keep the bloody thing! Finished strongly and might have got the equaliser at the end (albeit we could also easily have conceded as we were so open at that point). Not sure we would have deserved it, but Id really like to see the Fadinger incident again as it looked like a pen to me. Disappointing. Frustrating. But miles above many of the turgid, gutless performances we have been acustomed to in Glasgow.

100 percent would take a draw too

I try to be an optimist, but definetly not expecting anything out this game either 2-3 with a stoppage time winner sounds like it could definetly happen as they have a habit of late winners

We were decent enough but agree we lacked a bit of belief thought the subs were too late today, thought the likes of Just looked burst well before he came off undoubtedly need a forward, we couldn’t make it stick either today when we needed to relieve a bit of pressure

Fadinger isn’t the type to go down easily so I think there must have been something in it. We all know that if it was in the other box it would likely be a penalty and the justification would be that there was contact, no matter how little.

We’re not suddenly going to start being clinical in front of goal by Tuesday, and our style of play won’t change, so I expect this game to play out much like our loss to Rangers. Another decent but frustrating performance is likely.

Just saw the JBA interview and he’s raging about the penalty? I have to say I thought it looked soft? Hopefully sportscene will show it better later.

Would take a draw if offered to me. We are needing to be more clinical in front of goal. Sellik hopefully leave us plenty of space but no point when we have nothing up front. Hendry so laboured and just doesn't get into positions and when he does he doesn't take chances. Also need our top players to be on form

Thought O’Donnell played well when he came on. I see Slattery taking some stick but I thought he was decent when he came on, not so much Osong though. For a while I had been giving our forwards the benefit of the doubt, saying that we didn’t give them decent service. Now though, I think we have been creating more chances but not taking them. While i think top priority is a striker for us we might also work on some shooting practice for the team. 😳

A number 9 is a must in January but for me a left back should also be a priority,longelo clearly offers something going forward but defensively he hasn't got it,he gets caught out of position far to easy then doesn't have the desire to get back,I would be all for giving him a go further up the park and sign a proper left back.

So, the optimists will see this a chance of bouncing back and ending a run of eleven(?) losses in as many of our last home games against Celtic. But this won’t be any different. Either 0-4 or 2-3 with them scoring the winner in stoppage time. Either way we just don’t have what it takes to win this one.

We’re a proper number 9 away from this being an outstanding season. Hopefully the board push the boat out and give JBA the backing to sign one in January. Otherwise, we’ll look back on this season and wonder what might have been.

Disappointed not to get at least a point today, which shows how far we have come in 2025 One thing we do need as others have mentioned is a goal machine for the big occasion. A Higdon , John Sutton, Moult (2015-2017) , a Tommy Coyne or a Dougie Anyway onwards to the Celtic and St Mirren games

Our good run was always going to come to an end . We played well for 20 mins and didn’t take our chances . As much as I hate to say it rangers were the better team and deserved to win . i don’t like picking out individual players , I don’t think it was down to any single player today that we lost . Felt it more that we lacked belief that we could win.

We just have to be patient. The good work that JBA has done so far is astounding. He can’t fix everything at once and I’m surprised by how much he has fixed already. Players are going to have off days, bad spells, good spells and today we had several players with off days yet managed to have slightly more posession than Rangers did and could have been a goal or two up after 20 mins if had a goal scorer. disappointing result but still not a team in the league that we should fear.
