I like what the manager is trying to do and there's no reason we can't be relatively successful doing it but we can't keep defending like we have been this season or it will always be one step forward and two back.we needed a clearout of defenders in the summer and it didn't happen plus we now have a keeper that isn't good enough.having gordon,mcginn and Jonny k in the starting line up in a semi final is pretty grim considering they were all on the books last season and we were just as bad defensively then.

I know people are upset, but if we're going to abandon everything after a poor game, then we might was well bring back Hammell or Malpas and play "proper" Scottish football. Go back and reed last season's match threads if you want to see what's in store if we go back down that path. Disgraceful performance. No point playing all the football and giving a team that's scored 8 goals in 10 games 4 goals. Our delivery into the box throughout the game was amateurish. To lose another two goals after getting ourselves back into it is up there with the all time Motherwell fuck ups. I'm not so sure they will get pumped. They are very good at what they do, people may not like it but they are big strong, can defend and can take chances when presented to them. Our manager needs a total rethink. No experience of Scottish football. Master class from St Mirren. We were out thought, out fought and ultimately out scored by a long way. Scottish football is all about physicality and we don't have it.

Thought refereeing was poor. That first goal wrong on 3 levels. Was offside. Ball was way off original position when took and was also moving. Think we had genuine pen claim also early doors. Massive let down however. Was so hopeful. Need to make sure of top 6 now.
