Really happy with that today, looked a bit ropy for the first 20 - 25 minutes and rode our luck with the offside goal and the one off the bar but afterwards there was only going to be one winner. Ward made a great save to keep the clean sheet at home record going.
-
Were they both Stuart McCall seasons? It is impressive when you see that. Even now this season we will be going somewhat to reach 70 points. Thought Slattery's pass for the first goal was sublime today. It really shows what he is capable of. If he is 3rd/4th choice midfielder at the moment it shows the strength of the squad.
-
Some of our previous keepers used to just go get it themselves ! 😂
-
Quite cold today. Someone should have nipped and got him a bovril in the second half...
-
I’m not sure what everyone else thinks but I think Sam Nicholson will be like a brand new player when he gets back fit. There’s been real positive comments from Jens about what he’s seen so far from him in the training and what he’s doing. I always thought he looked a talented player but didn’t suit the Kettlewell approach but I think he’ll slide in to our style of football really well. with him coming back, Watt getting back I just think we need a defender in the January window to make this special season even more special.

Does that include Calum Ward as a spectator? 😂

2012/13 Finished 2nd on GD of +16 with 63 point 2013/14 2nd on GD of +4 with 70 points
-
Probably some point during 2012/13. If Maswanhise stays the whole season he could end up at Higdon numbers for goals scored.
-
A few contenders but Oscar Priestman for me.
-
When was the last time, in the top division, we had a goal difference of +18
-
It’s the BBC not very factual for facts 😆
-
Sure it was anounced as 7200. About 600 killie fans. It looked busy.
-
Does anyone know the correct match attendance today? Announcer at game said 7,200 but BBC says 6,243. A bit of a difference.
- Today
-
McCann not quite accurate with his comments Another great game today , an absolutely brilliant team we have at the minute 👏
-
Add to that, Longelo looking better today. Hopefully, Watt back soon with Nicholson and Halliday Making noise about being ready soon. Can’t recall when Cook is due back. if we can get Welsh back and/or equivalent replacement we will be looking very strong for last round of fixtures and post split. Fingers crossed for a Scottish cup victory at Pittodrie next month.
-
Aye that was downright weird. As I recall, it was also off the ball. As others have said, Killie were downright dirty and there's only one man responsible for that. He needs called out by the media. Oh wait...
-
Preistman for me reminded me of a much better quality Alan Campbell.
-
Livi manager in the stand for our game next week after getting red card today?
-
Another valuable 3 points today. Getting closer to clinching a top 6 spot. 10 games to the split and 7th place team most likely need 5 games to overtake us when looking at GD. I realise the team has to focus on 1 game at a time and then see where we end up at end of the season but as a fan I’m allowed to have a wee look ahead 😂
-
Did I hear right that Neil McCann was yellow carded for complaining after our 2nd that we took the free kick quickly before he could finish giving instructions to his players? How rude of us!
-
Once McGinn and SOD figured out the two big lads, they did well to neutralise them. They couldn’t out-jump them, so one was always blocking the big man and the other cleaning up. Overall, I thought they did a good job. I do agree we still need another CB.
-
Spoiled for choice once again but Fadinger is so good. Big boost to see Slattery back on form.
-
Wondered that as well. Don't know if he was just explaining the reason for the delay?
-
Absolutely. I think Gordon may have been a better choice but after we scored that became irrelevant. Dakers and John-Jules were just too physical for SOD and Paul McGinn. We do need another out and out centre back, preferably one who can play a bit, like Welsh. He was missed today.
