I actually thought I had gone to the wrong place - I hadn't but it was full by 6pm, the gates were closed when I turned up and there were also apparently issues with stock as well. I wasn't turned away, I didn't ask to get in but some people were turned away - it was very busy by the sounds of it. The well society said they are going to try and rectify things by the official opening date
-
numpty started following Premier cup KO rounds
-
Itโs a good draw and one that is winnable. Obviously itโs Motherwell and you can never be sure but I have a good feeling about this one. Hopefully this will be 3pm on the Saturday.
-
A draw that should see us progress. I have faith in the JBA way.
-
Would be hard to play worse, but I've been proved wrong before.
-
Yeah but this is 2025 soโฆ. ๐คทโโ๏ธ

The way things are seeded in the last 16 now, with typically 5 or 6 lower league non-seeds every year, you're more likely to draw one (unless your us, of course). Even this year there was a 50/50 chance of matching up with a lower league team. (I agree that it would be easy to fix if you wanted to). I wouldn't need much convincing, however, that the warm and cold balls was happening in the 70s.
-
A home tie would have been better but considering the other teams we could have drawn, away to StJ is a decent draw. I only hope we perform a lot better than our last cup tie in Perth.
-
Oooh another quick defence of the blue uglies, you are on form today
-
And guys like Chris Sutton and Neil Lennon etc who have been involved in conducting the draw over that time have helped Rangers avoid a Premiership team somehow? Yeah?
-
As someone who does fair play for another sport, it would not be as difficult as you think
-
I didnโt think your response was anything other than tongue in cheek to be honest. But the post I quoted appeared to imply that the draw was fixed for Celtic and Rangers to get the easiest draws possible. And Iโm asking how they think that that is possible. Given that there have been so many individuals who have helped conduct these draws and given that if there genuinely had been any kind of โfoul playโ then none of it would have been leaked onto social media in some way or other? It just sounds like alot of nonsense to me. Alot of โboo-hoo thatโs no fair but ah canny really show how itโs no fairโ whinging to me.

Drawn against St Johnstone away. They said when doing the draw it was over 2 legs but it isn't. The KO rounds revert to straight knockout with extra time and penalties if required
-
Enough of this Scottish football nonsense , c'mon the lionesses , aye right .sick of hearing about them .
-
8 times out of the last 10 years at this stage Rangers have avoided a Premiership team.
-
It's just tongue in cheek, I don't genuinely think it's rigged, they do however always get jammy draws a lot
-
Yep happy with this one as well
-
Hot and cold balls on top form Happy with st Johnstone away, could have been a lot worse
-
And how do they fix it for that to happen? Considering that Aberdeen, Hearts, Hibs and Dundee Utd were all seeded so they couldnโt have drawn any of them so that limits the sides they could have drawn. But โhot/cold ballsโ!?!?โฆ.Really? Does anyone seriously, SERIOUSLY believe that nonsense? Because if there is anyone who does then I would love to hear how you think that that works and how the Scottish football authorities could pull that off without giving anything awayโฆ???
-
St.Johnstone away. One of the better ones we could have got and a chance to avenge for that horrendous day up there in January this year.
-
Celtic get Falkirk, Rangers get Alloa. Yea not fixed at all. Happens far too often
-
St Johnstone away. Happy with that.

Have a funny feeling we'll get Hibs at Easter Road in the draw. No idea why..
-
Oh right.
-
Won't be able to play against Alloa as they (like us) will be unseeded.
