Regards Miller, a bidding war would be great obviously but, unlike other players we've sold, I'm more concerned that he makes the right move for his career. Because as well the fee right now, I think any add ons we manage to negotiate could be huge for us down the line...

Today's BBC gossip... "Udinese, who had a Β£2.5m offer for Lennon Miller, 18, rejected in January, are ready to try again with an improved offer for the Motherwell midfielder, while Bologna are also keen on the Scotland international. (Sun)" https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cx24xd2119zo

That would make sense, a central defender who I have no doubt has been trained to death in the possession based set up JBA wants. Looks a top young player too. although the lad Dickson we got from them last year wasnβt great.

Wouldn't by his named replica strip that's for sure.

How's his maw,by the way.

11 points.

Yup all about opinions and I'm a big Stama fan. Providing he stays fit 15+ goals this season. Watch this space.
-
If the story of him flying abroad yesterday are true then Iβd suspect today would have been a look around the club and itβs facilities and talking to the manager today with possibly a medical and scans over today and tomorrow. If all is true and everything goes well then Iβd expect something tomorrow or Friday.

Nae need to get personal...

Some online chat that this might be one of the Man city boys we are trying to bring in on loan, a defensive midfielder, the replacement for Miller maybe? Mahamadou Susoho https://share.google/Tpt2KbOP3TPFV4WOJ https://cityxtra.co.uk/31665/scottish-premier-league-side-propose-double-loan-deal-to-manchester-city/

Without being specific about Bair, we do have a habit of bringing players back to the club. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.. There have been suggestions on here that it's lazy or unimaginative recruitment. But if (and this hasn't always been the case when we've done it) it's a type of player we need, I can see why it might be a thing that appeals to the club. Not for sentimental reasons either. If someone has been at the club before, you know what kind of personality you're bringing into the group. They know the area, you don't need to worry about them settling in. You know they're not coming expecting state of the art training facilities As I said, I'm not advocating for the return of Bair. But there are sometimes advantages of signing a former player...

Thought we might have seen something about Miller today.
-
Which one? There were two. He would have got a better view our Ap Stam's claim than that of his own player's.
-
Maswanhise with all respect is a winger. Stamatelopoulos? Cmon .we r hoping he will be good but other than a great strike against hibs he has not shown much. Even when bair wasn't scoring he was creating space for others. All about opinions but for me I think he would fit in perfectly

Much improvement from Kettlewells so far. Some good signs that we are trying to play passing football. 68 percent possession. Was impressed with Longello and Watt. TW just gets better. Seethe/ anger on Imrie's face at the penalty decision and full time, priceless!
-
For Watt, Slattery and Fadinger what is required is one to shave his head and the other to dye their hair blonde as I couldn't work out who was who for large chunks of the match π€ͺπ€ͺ
-
Many of us didnβt, and thatβs why we turned on him over a year before he finally buggered off, lashing out like a victim on his way out.
-
Yet scottish teams with 11 Scottish players used to win European competitions with these methods...times moved on but at the end of the day ,it usually comes down to how good the players are
-
I am looking forward to this. Hopefully both sides take it seriously enough for it to be a good test and not just a training exercise.
-
Sure but he did well in spl so he may do again, as others pointed out french football is a few levels up.
-
If you found SK's 15 match run without a win entertaining then more power to you.
-
I don't subscribe to this. I certainly go to the football to be entertained. Unfortunately, many of the most recent years have delivered very little entertainment. I did not enjoy watching the Kettlewell era, even when we were winning. I am very happy to see a different approach which, in my view will be very much more entertaining than what has been served up in recent years.
