Ok guys here’s a rumour fresh off the press from a Rangers fan at work who was told this by another guy at work who used to work at Ibrox in a maintenance job. Rangers are looking at offering us “a seven figure sum and Lyle Cameron for Watt with Rangers getting first refusal on re signing Cameron in 18 months” Personally I think it’s a load of shite but with the lack of rumours it’s too good a rumour not to share.

Feel like AP might be away in the window for a fee. Or he is carrying a bit of a knock and that’s why he has not came on as a sub. Also think Halliday will go, maybe to a championship side. Balmer might want a move for game time. Could see him leaving. Other than that I can’t see much movement in the squad.

I know the club likes to keep their cards close to their chest about potential signings and I agree with that but I did think we’d have seen at least one prearranged player signed this week with a couple of players leaving given that they’ve probably been told weeks ago to find another club as they’re not part of the managers plans.

Sound suspiciously like the type of rumour you would start to offset the painful truth that your team cannot match the asking price for a player from a diddy club.

What I have really enjoyed is that before we kicked a competitive ball, JBA stated his intention was for us to play the same way against every team, home or away. There were a number of doubters, but we laid down a marker in the opening league match against Rangers, and have not deviated from that philosophy since. Gone are the days (for now) when we park the bus at Ibrox for 20% possession and hope we get one decent chance on a breakaway.

It really is. As a Motherwell fan, you never go into a game thinking we will definitely win. Years of condition will make that hard to shift. But I have gone into every game this season thinking we had a good chance to win it. We have held our own against Rangers, Hearts and Celtic. And even been the better team fir large chunks of every game.

Campbells game is all about energy and fitness,neither of which he had when he struggled at utd and giving he hasn't played for months,it will most likely be the same again at st mirren.

Brilliant point, I often remember McCall being very negative in his press conferences for big games, more so games against Rangers. Remember a quote from him where he was basically asking the fans would we rather beat Rangers or Celtic if it meant we were 7th or 8th in the league. Terry Butcher and Mark McGhee I remember talking down our chances in some of those games as well, that was despite picking up some wins in big games too. There is a much more positive outlook at the club from those days , the attendances are also proof of this and long may it continue.
