Out of interest, what was the price for a Cat A ticket in previous years? Season tickets have obviously went up and I noticed at the Morton game the cost of pies/juice/meal deal etc had all been increased.

Agreed as always the club are cashing in on the large support the ugly sisters bring to Fir Park, at the expense of the home fans as they need to charge the same price. Clubs should be encouraging fans to attend matches, charging £34 a ticket is not the way to do it, a ticket, pie and bovril and you are already nearly £42 down.

The endless stories based on guesses and empty speculation are certainly boring, but that's standard for transfer windows where the media needs to report on "breaking news" 24 x 7. In reality, there isn't really anything unusual happening - it just so happens it's one of our players involved.

A lot of pubs ‘weather-proofed’ their outdoor spaces during Covid when they were only permitted to open outdoors so I’m sure it could be done.

I'm sure I read that they plan to weather proof it at some point to make it more usable year-round.

As far as i am aware its a beer garden with little or no shelter/ cover. In Scotland it will be lucky to be open on matchdays given the weather we have.

You could be right on the same country moves. Each country can apply their own thinking as not bound by International criteria as set out. Our lot are all very secretive about how they arrive at a figure and I believe Accies said they were warned not to reveal any details. All they could do was register how unhappy they were. Just shows the nonsense of not adopting the rules that apply cross border. That would be much more open and consistent. No wonder Clubs often work out a deal to avoid a Tribunal up here.

I found a report on training Compensation and the Solidarity Scheme. States that Uefa and individual Associations decided upon the amount it took to train a player on an annual basis and came up with a payment table. Then they took into account the level of each team and adjusted the fee based on that. I did not find anything about wages offered by either club as being a factor in the calculation. Not saying that was not added later but I cannot confirm. I tried to copy the calculation section and post it here but every time I tried it was blacked out. Not sure why.
