  1. Past hour
  2. I was not a fan of Wilson as a player and I thought we’d seen the last of him when he went off to Raith but credit where it’s due, I thought he played really well last night and looked a better player than the one that left us. The manager sees something in him and sometimes that’s all that matters to raise your game, confidence goes up and performances improves… long may his form continue
  3. Definetly could have been more goals last night, though if anyone had offered a 2-0 win before our first competitive game I would definetly have taken it Another bumper crowd last night which was very pleasing
  4. Definitely not for that amount of money.
  5. Also, Stephen Welsh got subbed after 82 minutes, and Lennon Miller at half time.
  6. A classic example of a player who took pelters for years after he joined us for being big and useless.
  7. Today
  8. Its certainly not our model to be fair. Re-sale value is usually important to us, especially if we are paying a fee for someone. However, with the churn of this seasons squad and the profit already banked, could we be looking at just getting someone tried and tested in that will do a job and stay for 2/3 seasons?
  9. I'd be surprised if Falkirk were looking to sell him or if he was looking to leave to begin with tbh. A 30 year old midfielder who has 1 season in the top division with no resale value who you'll get 2 years out of (maybe 3 at the very most)? No, he's not worth anything like £400-500k and if anyone is daft enough to spend that money on him it'll certainly not be us.
  10. Elijah Just scores on his debut for Swansea https://www.swanseacity.com/news/report-swansea-city-2-udinese-0
  11. Well done to Captain Sparrow and his young crew. Off to the North Atlantic next week for the next battle. Hopefully get through that with no astro turf injuries.
  12. Spiderpig posted about this the other day. Club needed to do a rush job to get seats in. If nothing in place we couldn't use that stand. Would like to think will be proper upgrade. If any consolation my seat in hunter stand with my wee legs was perfect 🤪🤪
  13. Yup should be easy to do as long as there are seats available
  14. Well, with respect, I dont think Falkirk are selling him for that amount of money! Do you not rate him as a player? Is he not worth it? Like I said previously, Ive never paid any real attention to him, so Ive no idea what he is worth.
  15. First time I've seen them last night and made sure to inspect for jagged edges on my seat and ones adjacent but have to say was all smooth. The original wooden seats would never get confused for Qatar Airlines business class so I'm thinking the footprint of the new ones must be larger which is causing an issue? Was quite a procedure to allow people by, no much wiggle or any other room. The spacing was set in early 60's was it when the stand was extended & rebuilt i presume and the average height and waist of the patrons is not decreasing so what to do? Oh aye it looked like it'd never been wiped at all since wooden ones were removed, needed a right good wipe. Thinking aisle seat or right down the front next time.

    50/50 DRAW

Is it not 50% to prizes 50% to the club. 100% increase in a ticket seems a bit steep. £1 is the correct leval .
  17. Kirk is without doubt one of my favourite players ever - even outside the cup I loved his attitude . the cup was fantastic . I remember feeling confident in extra time because he hasn’t scored yet and he didn’t let us down . Despite all of that and him being a cult hero I don’t believe he’s the best ever signing . I more think he was the worse ever sell - I was livid that we traded him and McGill and for eddy May and money - wtf
  18. Whit yer knees ? Seriously have yet to see what mine look like. Not looking forward to it if the numerous reports are correct.
  19. Stevie Kirk for almost singlehandedly winning us the Scottish Cup A day never to forget !
  20. That amount didn't even cover the cost of his da's club car back in the day.
  21. Lots to comment on, both good and not so good, from last night, but I think Dylan Williams looks a real find. His versatility will be a big asset, and he slotted into the left attacking midfield role effortlessly. It’s already pretty clear that he, along with a few others, will do well in our 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3.
  22. second leg next Thursday being shown on Premier Sports i see - from 6pm
  23. These “new” seats in the main stand are utterly ridiculous. My knees are bruised. Surely, we need to replace them?
  24. Aye you can. Just head down and see them
  25. Hahahaha. Absolutely not. £40-50k max.
  26. Wonder if Yan Dhanda is on our radar? Always thought he was a creative player.
