  1. If WE don't know, neither will Saints. Our chief weapon is surprise, surprise and fear, fear and surprise. Our *two* weapons are fear and surprise, and ruthless efficiency. Our *three* weapons are fear and surprise and ruthless efficiency...

  2. Aye, 9 goals in 23 starts was all hype. If we're going to continue down the road of playing passing football, the Craig Tanner of last season would be an asset. Whether we get the Craig Tanner of last season back is different question. But unlike you, if the coaching and medical staff feel it's a possibility, I'd be willing to give him a chance...

  3. My dad saw Tanner and Cadden coming out the swimming pool last week so he can definitely walk. I'm sure my dad would have told me if he was slithering out on his belly.

  6. As far as I know he had his contract extended recently by a year to take him up until summer 2020. Our club , unlike some others in Scotland, believes that a player should leave in the same medical condition in which he arrived. He was injured playing for us and we're doing the decent thing by him. Apart from anything else that will promote the club's image to players. He was sat in front of us at NDP at the back end of last year. I hope he returns to full fitness with us - good luck to him. Its good to see MFC stick by him.

  7. It would be hugely disappointing if people were pissed off with the winning streak as it somehow proved them wrong on an internet forum

  8. What a difference from December complete turnaround. Played so well and very pleasing to see. The second goal in particular was a joy to behold and reminiscent of 'Well sides of years past. Alan Campbell looking like Phil O'Donnell with every passing game - great box to box player. Jake Hastie looks a real top class player in the making. The defence looks more sound playing with as an orthodox back four. No failures yesterday. Fair dos to Robinson for recognising the need to change our style of playing. Oh and white shorts with claret socks also reminiscent of Well teams of years past. Lol. Onwards and upwards. COYW.

  9. The continued development of the young players has been key and he’s always said he would bring them in, but only when the timing was right for both them and the club. Personally I think that’s responsible management which should be applauded. Hastie is a great example of someone who could have come in too early and gone backwards because of it. Scott is not being rushed which for me is again the correct thing to do, Maguire will be next. I’m just glad the board did not panic and sack Robinson which would have been a huge mistake in my view and could have ended up costing us a place in the top flight if they got the next guy wrong. Yes the football under Robinson has been very poor, no arguement there and he’s definitely got it wrong at times, the cup against Ross county a prime example but he’s also got it right just as often in big games. Anyway regardless I now believe the uncertainty regarding next season is over and we won’t be changing manager, in my view that’s a good thing.

  10. The Dali Lama has got to be the biggest 'Well fan ever as he is always donning the famous C&A. Wonder what seat he sits in the East Stand.

  11. Tanner is on commentary today, he was talking about his injury but I missed the start of it, but he talked about him and Cadden hopefully coming back in this season.

  12. I think it means we’re doing a better job of enticing local talent to sign with us rather than the ugly sisters or anyone else. As per the article listed earlier, a lot of the players coming through now have been with the club for 10 years or so. So there’s a lot of folk to credit, starting with who spotted them at the age of 9, through to who signed them, then who developed them at each age level. We should keep this in mind when evaluating changes to the club structure, it could be a decade before we see the fruits of it.
