  1. As always we will finish right where we deserve to finish, nothing to do with refs who will get criticism regardless. Look on any forum after a game and both sets of supporters state the ref gave the majority of decisions against them. The standard of refereeing in Scotland is shocking, I tend to leave it at that.
  2. The board will judge him on his performance since being appointed. His first full season was two cup finals, a finish of 7th in the league, and a ton of money made on the cup runs and transfer fees with Kipre being a player he signed. For all your talk of losing finals, 8 league wins at home and the likes those are the actual facts. Last season went well in most people’s view and that was shown by a large increase in season ticket sales. This season is not going well without a doubt but none of us know what targets the board set him, if it’s avoiding relegation I believe he will achieve that.
  3. I certainly don’t think they are stupid. They will weigh up the risks of keeping him against the risk of appointing a new manager, there are just as many risks in changing. Look at the changes at St Mirren, Falkirk, Dundee, Partick Thistle to name four this season. For every move that works another two fail and in my view while we stay out of that bottom two they will stick and review in the summer.
  4. He was never going to get sacked after Saturday and probably still won’t if we lose against Aberdeen. My personal opinion is as long as we stay out of the bottom two the board will stick with him.
  5. We pretty much can’t beat any top six team but are decent enough against the bottom six, I think that will end up being enough to see us safe. Whether that’s acceptable to many given the football is pretty poor is debatable but I still think we are better than two or three other teams.
  6. Honestly for me it’s just one very bad defeat that’s not happened before under Robinson’s reign. Plain fact is whatever way you look at it their budget does dwarf ours and it always will and they, along with Celtic will carry on winning the vast majority of games again us as they always historically have. When was the last league win against Rangers in the league apart from the play off game ? It’s really no difference to down in England where Man City have the budget to blow the smaller clubs out of the water every game, that’s not linked to the attitude of the fans of those clubs, it’s just pure financial power the same way it is at the top of the Spanish league. I think it’s important not to have knee jerk reactions in situations like this while understanding emotions are running high straight after the game. I’m not defending the performance which was obviously shocking ( I was not there so going on feedback from those that were). But as always Robinson will live or die by results although I don’t believe losing to the likes or Rangers or Celtic regardless of by how many goals will be that deciding factor. There was a degree of optimism on here before the game, personally I don’t believe it was justified given this seasons performances but yes the size of the defeat was still a bit of a shock.
  7. It’s one game guys, it’s not happening every week
  8. We know we are not close to competing with the best teams in the league and yes that does include an improving Rangers, this is not a shock.
  9. Pretty much this. I’m very much a glass half full type of supporter but two wins against woeful opposition does not hide the fact we are really struggling in the final third. I would be over the moon with a draw as I suspect everyone else would be it’s a very big ask.
  10. I think they are improving but hey hopefully i’m wrong.
  11. They certain did early on but in my view have improved greatly. 10 points out of the last 12.
  12. Quite surprised at the level of positivity for this one, Rangers away is one tough game now that Gerrard is in charge. 3-1 to them sadly.
  13. Pretty much, Moult was never as effective without Bowman in my view. His worth is what he adds to his strike partner. I’m pretty sure even Bowman would admit he is not a natural goalscorer and more a useful sidekick allowing his partner to shine.
  14. 332 career appearances with 95 goals, not too shabby in fairness even given the level he’s played at.
  15. Bowman is not a natural goalscorer, never really has been his whole career. He is however a very useful partner alongside the right striker. In my opinion Moult was at his best with Bowman, it just does not work with Main.
  16. To be fair if everyone in the squad was Carson quality we would be top four.
  17. I still think he has potential, I would give him a run of games and see where it goes.
  18. Still not sure about Bigi, fine against weaker teams but he just goes missing against the better ones. I would also guess he’s on a very good wage that in my view could be better spent.
  19. Is Tanner even close to being back, he would be a welcome addition.
  20. We’ve only shipped two goals in the last four games.
  21. I actually think Gorrin has a bit of quality about him and given time would do well. Main was good enough in my view but for some reason has just gone backwards.
