  1. Eh? Saunders and Hutchison got absolutely done over there, Reynolds was watching them Steaua, have shown some absolute class. Motherwell have shown that too many changes will have an effect Not sure if the Steaua management have really done their homework or if our weaknesses are just so obvious to the better players. Fair game to them, Probably would be a joy to watch if it wasn't us getting a doin!
  2. Official story clicky Positive talk, with a realistic slant
  3. Got an answer phone message about the sponsors night: Sunday 9th August@ 6:30pm Centenary suite at Fir Park two course meal, additional tickets £30 Ballso, to be honest I've been waiting on the club contacting me since receiving the original letter that specifically said they'd be in touch about handing over the strip, I never thought it would be so long until they actually did make contact I'll get all the names printed off and bagged and try and find an independant draw master to pick one out the hat so to speak Anyone that sponsored Sutton wants to go along to the sponsors night let me know and I'll give you Elaines number at the club.
  4. I believe a similar statement was issued to the little fud when he tried to board one of the fans buses bound for Katowice on departure from Fir Park. I am convinced the abuse he got that morning was the catalyst for his hatred of all things 'Well GIRFUY chico
  5. What next? time to fight for a place in the starting squad, like it should be,for too long, too many have been aware they'd be in the starting 11 due the the squad structure. He believed he was good enough to move on in the past, he should continue to believe he's good enough and win his place back to prove it, now he and others just have to knuckle down and get on with it.
  6. Please please please say straight home after the game, back in time for Friday night shift this may be my only chance of seeing this one
  7. and during the Glasgow Fair, a time, when although not as prevalent as years past, is at the peak of the surrounding areas holiday season. bought 6 tickets today, seemed to be still selling reasonably well, and it was said that around 3000 had been sold
  8. Beezer you seem to be unhappy at ths situation, yet I'd have put you down as one normally arguing to give players a chance, surely this is just the start of JG's reign and it's time to sit back and let him build. you may think McGhee got stick but I'd say it was very limited in the early days, only a handful of punters raised concerns in the early days then it escalated as more and more could see he was not building for the future as he had no intention of being here. JG deserves his chance and time, there might be a few short term deals getting handed out but everything I've seen and read indicates he wants to build something and for every one of the short deals its also been mentioned that there are options to extend the deals. all the players so far are young and have indicated their desire to work and develop, specifically with Gannon. Reckon its time to let him do his thing and forget the comparisions with McGhee
  9. aye good luck getting that, £90 - £120 for a Good 'Un with interest in it
  10. Heres another link http://www.iraqgoals.net/game969.html
  11. It happens most years in the early rounds of the League cup (as those that read the SMS text reporting from some memorable games will testify ) and frequently with the likes of the Intertoto So not really a disgrace, giving the timing, but it would have been nice to have some feed
  12. ach well, tongue in cheek wanting someone to boil to death in the heat is OK, besides it being one of the players representing your club on a football pitch. Magic, re-assures a whole lot. I'll remember that. edit: i'll almost smiled at the simmmer down comment, but still think no matter your feelings on anyone showing preferenence forthem to die is too much

I'm gutted I had the time off and cancelled it on the way up the road on Friday, having been informed of the announcement on the official site A couple of holidays left for another game, but this one really does sound like a good wee trip. Best of luck to all that make it.

  16. Well spotted Trucks, its a very big IF and a fair few BUTS before it could clash but hey some people will not see that
  17. I think all us speeders might have reason to 'panic' might be a few letters dropping thru letter boxes in the coming weeks wish I'd seen this article before travelling on Friday BBC clicky Bassa's suppose its a fair cop if we get caught , but a campaign like that you can fair rack up the points in one journey
  18. I must've missed corrigan sticking around for his testimonial year then
  19. It is still shown on the official sites fixture list here scheduled for 8th August @ 15:00 Not sure if there is any doubt about it or not, If we beat Flamurtari, then the third qualifying round is scheduled for 30/07 & 06/08 so we might not want a Saturday game if we are away on the Thursday
  20. you must've been on the road same time as us, Did you get a run with Davies family? looked bad but the passenger compartment of the 4x4 that had been towing it was still complete so if seatbelts were in use hopefully they were all ok, It was another Van accident that held everything up further back on the northbound carraigeway as well, looked like it had been on its side!
  21. Fine performance by all the players, a real step up from last week , amazing what an extra weeks training and coaching can do. Still feel there is quite a lot of work to do though and more to come from some, Difficult choice, Sutton gets near it for his goals and his real progress in being involved more around the park, McGarry worked the entire pitch and barely put a foot wrong, he isn't the best but he delivers in effort and determination what others with more skills could learn from. Lasley and Forbes were quite spectacular in the middle, really pleased Las stepped up and Forbes continued his development Hammell ran them ragged and deserves praise, like the other defenders, all good performers but were they really tested? job done however. But I'll go for Slane, Worked tirelessly and a different class in skills and mentality, showed his more senior counterpart how to just get on with it and stop fucking moaning and blaming others
  22. No, but I've never seen Craggs wave like that and just want to get off the park asap, looked to be trying to march straight off avoiding others and celebrations, JG did spot it and had to change direction to intercept him and shake his hand, A lot of pressure on our captain just now, I'm not quite sure why? and think its uncalled for, but that was my gut feeling when I seen him
