  1. I've made a wee alteration to the profile pic. Hope you don't mind.
  2. Are we working under the assumption that Murphy is on his way out then?
  3. The simple answer for 'Well fans is to buy a season ticket, and pick & choose the away games you attend. If the price of the food at the stadium is not to your liking then simply eat before you come in to the game. Once people stop spending their hard earned at the in-ground kiosk they'll maybe have to rethink their pricing. If people are happy to continually moan about it though, yet still throw money their way at the weekend then they have no real incentive for changing things up.
  4. I went to the Killie game last weekend as well, having both food & drink before I went in and giving the shit programme a bodyswerve I only paid for my ticket.
  5. I don't think we'll be strolling past Hearts, that's for sure. I think we'll do enough for a win though. Jefferies going must have some sort of effect on the players.
  6. Again, not directly Motherwell-related, but Coventry have knocked back an offer of £1.5 million for the Juke.
  7. It would do McHugh a power of good to get a goal in this game.

Sutton and the reaction on that Hearts forum is already being discussed in the Hearts game thread.
  9. Yeah, it was the design I was on about. I like the set-up of the place.
  10. If we play as we did against Kilmarnock when we go forward we'll struggle to score. I'm just hoping that both Hateley and Humphrey are on their game this weekend, and would like to see McHugh get a goal, as I think it would do his confidence some good. I can see this game finishing as a draw to be honest.
  11. After visiting Rugby Park yesterday I was thinking that a stadium like that would suit us right down to the ground.

    Bob Mchugh

Whilst I wouldn't say he was shite, I'd say that we need a better back up striker than him if we're hoping to make the top six this season.
  13. I'd like Airdrie or Accies to be honest.
  14. That shirt is fucking terrible.
  15. That's why I said that I was going on yesterdays game only. I certainly wouldn't be complaining if he steps up and plays a blinder against Hearts on Sunday.
  16. I can live with the various clubs who are supposedly "linked" with Murphy as long as none of them actually approach the club with an offer. We've been hearing about scouts at our games, bigot brother interest and all sorts for weeks now, but McCall said on Friday that there had been no contact from anyone regarding the lad. That's good enough for me. I'll start worrying when it's announced officially that the club have accepted a bid for him.
  17. Going on yesterdays game, he was pretty terrible. The amount of times he basically ran over the ball and messed up an attack was shocking, and very frustrating.

    Kilmarnock

It was a close one between Hutchy & Law, with Law getting the nod from me. He seemed our best bet of a goal, or of someone creating something that would result in a goal today.
  19. Aye, there was a surprisingly large away crowd today, and the 'Well boys were in good voice at the front left of the stand. Today highlighted the fact that we seriously need a striker. McHugh doesn't seem up to the job. I was hoping he'd step up to the plate today, but he was largely awol. In all we fully deserved the point we got, even if we could have gotten all three had we been a bit sharper.
  20. There's nothing on the websites of the Scottish Herald, The Independent or Daily Record website. In fact, a quick Google news search shows that there is nothing linking Murphy with a move to Wigan except that news site you linked. Also, there's an interview with Stuart McCall on the Herald site today which quotes him saying;
  21. Where do our under 19's actually play? Creamery Park? Who owns that stadium?
  22. We're based in the Chadwick stand for this game it would seem.
  23. As I said, if we don't see £2 million then we refuse to sell. That's what I would do anyway. Considering the money that English clubs are tossing around for players these days £2 million is pocket change.
  24. If we get offered over £2 million then we have to accept it. Anything less and I would hope the board turn it down.
