Motherwell v St Mirren 27/10/2021

I completely agree, we seem to have so little composure on the ball. When we pick the ball up in midfield it's such a rush to go FORWARD that if we just slowed it down a little and played a sideways pass or two it'd allow the front three (who have tucked in) to get forward and actually give us an option.

Grimshaw has been murder, and that first half performance from Shields is a perfect example of why the First Division isn't an absolute goldmine for talent like people seem to think.

O'Hara on for Grimshaw and KVV on for Shields at half time would be ideal, instead we won't see that, we'll go 1-0 down after 60 minutes and make changes around 80 minutes and scrape a draw if we're lucky.

It's so frustrating.

I'd actually take off Woolery and Shields for oHara and KVV, play 4 in midfield and two up top. They are murdering us in midfield, and our better ball players (Slattery and Goss) are chasing the ball to give it to Grimmy, thats totally the wrong fucking way round !!!!!

We just look lacking in confidence. Clearly the conditions aren’t helping us, but St Mirren are knocking the ball about fine. Need someone to step up in the midfield.

Wouldn’t be opposed to seeing O’Hara on. Power is always free and in space - and he’s pish!!

Nearly every game we give the opposition majority of possession, shambles all over the park especially midfield ,6/7 players not good enough, murder to watch

Sadly not a huge surprise .

same tactics , same formation

We have zero control of the game . The hope is they have no quality and can’t score and we somehow nick a goal on the counter

The conditions are not too bad. St.Mirren seem to be coping just fine.

Reality is that we can't pass the ball and we don't have movement to help each other either.

Agreed,it's one thing giving up possession if it means we then in turn do damage when we have the ball but we're hopeless in possession,we have to many players in the team that aren't comfortable with the ball at there feet and when we do get it it's all kick and rush stuff.the best we can say about some of them are that they try which should be a giving anyway, all it takes is a couple in the team not good enough and were in trouble before a ball is kicked.
