How Morelos is up for this beggars belief. He scored a fair few earlier in the season, but the number of high profile sitters he has missed and his general work ethic is woeful. Tierney will win it again even though he's been nowhere near as good as last year.
Well Society members may already be aware of this but I've been asked by the organisers to give this a late push online:
The Former Players Club & Well Society are hosting a fantastic Nostalgia Night in the Cooper Suite tomorrow evening & there are still tickets available!
The event is a 7pm for 7.30pm start & will include footage from 'Well matches from 1950 to 2000.
There will also be a short quiz & a number of former 'Well stars will be attending, including some members of the 1991 Scottish Cup winning side.
This is an evening that no 'Well fan should miss, particularly with another final on the horizon!
Tickets are priced at £10 (including a programme & half-time pie) and can be purchased at the Chapman Office at Fir Park or by calling 01698 338006.
All funds raised will go to the Well Society under the "Double Your Money" offer from Les Hutchison.
Hope to see you there!
Burrows, much like our manager, has quickly learned how to play the game. There's absolutely nothing to be gained by coming out swinging at the opposition or the Governing body unless it's really needed, and now isn't one of those times.
We've got enough tickets, and he also sorted out the hassle of Celtic fans sitting above Motherwell fans that caused grief last time.
In short, it's job done. No point in him kicking up fuck for nothing.
Burrows did nothing of the sort, but, don't let that get in the way of your rhetoric. If the uptake was there, the powers that be wouldn't have given the tickets over to the opposition. Same may be the case this time, but, a fairly straight forward bargaining tool to use as the organisers have agreed.
Let's get them sold.
A Motherwell version of the Dunfermline Joma tracksuit top would look a bit like my quick mock up.
In my opinion they appear to be stuck in a late 80s early 90s time warp.
I have to admit I’m not a fan of the Joma stuff. Their dated ‘J’ logo and confusing branding irks me. Although to be fair, smaller concerns will usually provide a more bespoke service for their clients and that has to be commended. When I get some time I will mock up a Joma C&A track top.
This won't go down well but here goes.
I don't think any of our players should be up for an award this season and barring Scott Mckenna in the under 21s, the reality is who has actually had a better season? There are comments about Tierney, who is one of the best hopes this country has in a defence back line for donkeys years. I didn't know Morelos was only 21, Caixinha obviously had him delivering the big Sunday Mexican times up the hill over a few years.
But really c'mon I am one the most fervant Motherwell fans, but the reality is that there is a good chance we will finish eighth in the league. There are many arguments for many players who have done more this season than even the guys mentioned. The only hope was at the younger level.
I've done it now I'll check the responses in the morning!
