I'm not sure why people keep talking about a meaningless end to the season when we're currently sitting 8th, one point behind St Johnstone, and two ahead of Livi in 9th.
The difference between finishing 7th and 9th is £120,000, which is a fair chunk of change for a club our size. That's what should be driving us until the last game of the season.
Hopefully we can move on Danny Johnson and Hartley to free up cash and places in the squad.
It looks like we are signing Declan Gallagher and Ousmane Fané from Oldham. Beyond that we need at least two strikers, one winger or possibly two and a left back.
Some interesting, pointed, comments from the manager about players in the last handful of games who maybe have eyes elsewhere next season, and not facilitating moves for them at this stage.
We've been mediocre and won nothing in pretty much every one of the 40-odd seasons I've witnessed. If that was all that mattered, I'd have given up long ago.
Essentially, our under 18 squad tonight. Didn’t do themselves justice. An experience and something to be used as a spur.
Liam Donnelly? Would struggle to make most amateur teams in the district...
