  1. As one of Robbo's biggest fans that was quite a tough read. A man who gave his absolute all to this club. Some of the abuse he took on here from certain individuals was/is shameful.

  2. Think you'll find it was watt who praised Robbo, But dont pass up a chance to have a dig. Dont know how he did at st j but wright must've thought enough if him to go for him. He also tried to buy Gallagher and Polworth before us.

  3. It looks like Gillespie to Hibs on loan.. come on Motherwell surely we should be head of the queue for getting Gillespie on loan, it might make the difference to staying up than getting relegated.

  4. Fleetwood sacked him after they had a bad start to the season (season after he won them promotion), Scunthorpe did so after he was on an 8 game run without a win (and even after that run they were still 5th!) and Salford have been slaughtered for sacking him, but apparently its "part of their plan" to sack managers when they are doing ok and they want promotion every season

  5. O'Donnell is a decent player but at our level where games have countless errors you need to make an impact on goals scored or conceded. I don't think O'Donnell has done better by that assesment than Grimmy has at left back this season. Spend our cash on someone who puts points on the board.

  6. Turning up pished and making the players greet is probably the only man management technique Robinson didn't try. Good shout.

  8. I would totally agree with You had we sacked Robbo anytime in the last 4 months, which is when we should have! Him leaving a day or two before the Jan transfer window opening has painted us into a corner tho. We dont have time to give "something different" a chance to work so we NEED a safe pair of hands to keep us in the division

  9. We would certainly benefit from a full lockdown. I live around the blue hoards and there would be a meltdown if the season was voided. Although given recent COVID events cancelling the season half way through is better than what they decided to do last season.

  10. I knew what I meant but I was in full blown ranting mode when I wrote that! (Clearly)

  11. Surely we could petition the SFA not to register a player unless the development compensation is paid

  12. McCall when he took the job was reported to be on about £80k a year. I very much doubt we will be paying or likely to be paying anywhere near £250k a year

  14. I feel for Lasley. You have your 1st game as Manager and you have Chapman in goals and Mugabi in central defence. Like playing with 9 men. In fact it would have been preferable. Would love him to succeed as he has the club at heart. But like many on here I think being Assistant Manager makes u part of the problem. Tommy Wright would get my support but I feel we need a different direction and TW would be too similar to SR. Would like a young exciting Manager who has fallen on hard times such as G Alexander, Danny Cowley or even Malky Mackay. The latter would be a tough one but if Livingston can appoint someone who had a 6 year prison sentence then.... I was a Robbo fan boy but this seasons signings have been awful. We have had issues with injuries but Accies were missing more 1st team players than us. I like Tony Watt. He at least tries but he is not prolific. Someone up there beside him that could score would be great.

  15. New manager needs to be in place by end of the week and he’s going to have to crack the whip like never before. A goalie (if Carson is out), a centre half, a midfielder and a striker minimum are required. Cole, Polworth, Gallagher, O’Donnell, Long and anyone else who doesn’t want to be here should fuck off now! Seedorf, Hastie, Chapman, Mugabi, Lamie, McGinley and White who are never good enough for this level need to leave now also. None of this “trying to improve players bullshit”. Folk that continually sold the jerseys and let the club down need emptied now. And not a chance we’d be having these conversations if Hartley and Tait were still in the building. We fucked up majorly there.

  16. It's that kind of sentimentality that's put us in this mess
