Another classic GA post match interview. 'It's not about the performance ', actually Graham it is for the fans that pay to come and watch, especially for those paying a lot to go to away games. Stop insulting the fans intelligence and get this sorted or let someone else take charge. In any club you need to have a manager that the fans can take to and build up a good relationship with but he just seems self centred and stubborn to realise this. Two points I wanna make. Firstly, right at the death one of the RC defenders was all over Efford in the box. The difference was that he didn't go down and the RC boy did. Secondly, what the actual fuck is going on with Slattery? Somebody must know why he can't get a game. He's far better than all 3 that started last night.

Yeah you're right if the the foul (pulling) starts outside the box and carries into the box its classed as a pen but the guy was going down outside the box defying physics in the process and landed in it as per TV pictures, so it's a nay.

Not a LB but watched a young RB playing for QOS the other night bombing up and down the wing for the full 90mins and delivering decent balls into the box also doing what he was supposed to do in defence ……… yip our very own Max Johnson. For what it’s worth Coner Shields scored goals for fun in the Championship last season playing up front alongside a big centre forward not stuck out on the wing trying to control balls fired at him above his head

And just how is he going to “improve the quality of the squad”?? There is no f*ecking money at the club to buy and pay for better quality players. The club is run on a very low budget and the manager, no matter who that may be, has to operate within very narrow parameters when it comes to recruiting players. Hence we take players on loan deals, from Irish football and trawl the lowest depths of English non-league football for players, in the hope that we might just unearth another Louis Moult. However the yield from this policy is diminishing all the time and the quality of player being brought into the club whether we like it or not is falling and will continue to do so. I’m pretty certain Alexander wanted to keep Tony Watt and his remarks about not needing another striker were just bravado, as witnessed by his attempt to get Zak Rudden from Partick before the end of the transfer window. I also think he appreciates the situation the club is in all too well. Maybe if he hadn’t been unemployed when our managerial vacancy came up, he wouldn’t have considered the job. I’ve been going to Fir Park for many years now and I’ve always thought some of the poorest footballers that I ever saw at the club, were in the middle to late 1960s, under Bobby Howitt but I have to admit, that with a few exceptions, the current squad contains far too many footballers that would struggle to get into that squad.

O'Donnell's display last night was indefensible, he absolutely deserves to be dropped. So does Carroll before anyone points that out to me. Kelly Mugabi Ojala Lamie Re-sign Stevie Hammell Slattery Shaw Goss Woolery KVV Efford Time for Alexander to stop fucking about, he's risking our season. Shields, O'Donnell & Donnelly are not our best options. Time to play our strongest XI. Anything less than a win and our league campaign is basically finished.

Nothing is a given this year. Of course we should be favourites, we had the majority of possession last night, but we lack a goalscorer and it’s costing us.

I don't know why folk are posting screen shots of the foul. it's not something a still image can capture. It was a penalty all day long. I don't know why anyone would think anything different. SOD, Carroll, Goss, Grimshaw, Amaluzor, Donnelly can all leave tomorrow if they want. Alexander isn't far of that list for a lot of people either.

Doubtless I will cop a boat load of flak for this, but to hell with it. IMO the following players need to be shown the door at the end of this season as they are simply not good enough: O’Donnell, McGinley, Carroll, Ojala, Goss, Slattery, Lamie, O’Hara, Grimshaw, White, Amalazour, Shaw, O’Connor, Shields, Stefford, Roberts.

I can get to a point where performances don't matter,in games like last night for example,we all knew it was never going to be a classic but do you think ross county will be bothered that they played shit and still won.were brutal to watch right now,there's not one positive to take from our play and fans will only accept that for so long especially when were shelling out good money to be bored out were tits every game and watch so called professionals that can't even find a team mate with a pass.alexander can go on about performances not mattering but see when he's actually setting us up to perform like we are,long punts all game and no goal threat then he seriously needs to have a look at what he's doing.

he grabbed cos he couldn't be bothered matching his run , just like he couldn't be arsed shutting down second rangers goal on Sunday, the list goes on. As you say , surely there are young guys at the club who will put a tackle in and get forward to out a cross in..odonnel and the two left backs just don't have it.

And the fact we're handing longer contracts out to utter dross shows he has no ambition to improve the quality of our play. That's depressing enough, but when you look at the teams around us...

Yorky - point well made about budget. My issue with GA is his attitude /no regrets about zero football, when we were winning and 4th it was easier to accept albeit still hard to watch or listen to him go on. GA has zero interest in the style of play, he doesn't care , as long as we get 3 points. (his words) Will be interesting to see if GA gets us top 6 with his approach, if he does fair enough.. Pretty much any decent mgr will have us +9th in the league, with occasional hot runs of top 6. I don't believe we have to approach this with a total lack of entertainment/style of play..

Scottish football is crap. Both teams were rubbish last night and the league table points difference between most of the teams prove we are all as bad as each other.

It’s a myth we are skint, we’ve got about 8 centre mids, 5 centre halves and 6 players that can play across the front three. We have also paid fees for Slattery and at least one other player, Ojala was it?

Alexander said it himself after the game - it's not the performance that concerns him, it's the result. That's clearly been the case since he arrived, so no one should expect it to change for the duration of his stay. The long term negative effects of crowds being asked to watch shite like that, week in/week out, have to become an issue sooner or later.

Doesn’t seem to have any confidence in playing the same starting eleven, think this is really hurting us as we are about 40 mins into a game before anyone has a clue what is going on.

Think club will need to offer free season tickets again next season or numbers will drop significantly. Quality of football is poor and with a manager who is difficult to like at times. Not calling for him.to go but a lot of improvement needed and also a youth academy needing seriously invested in

He got beat round the outside poor defending saw him behind their full back foul started outside the box continued into the box penalty. Carrol to blame, uphill struggle now the first goal is always important against teams that will sit in.

if Carroll was half decent I would give him the benefit of doubt, I am watching the stream , the initial foul is outside but he keeps a hold of him , so not the worst decision I've seen Beaton make
