Have you seen Hibs and Aberdeen this season? And Dundee United didn't exactly look up to much on Saturday.. Hearts will be playing us between two European games. There's plenty of points to be had in that run of games if we perform as we can...
This season (league stats) Rangers and Celtic have a combined penalty to shot ratio of 1 in 239
We have a penalty to shot ratio of 1 in 28
A lot of football is just.....random.
Exactly I would fancy our chances against hearts at home and there's absolutely no reason why we can't go and get a positive result at easter road and tannadice,we've won already at pittodrie so there's nothing to fear there either playing at home.i don't expect anything against the old firm clubs but if we actually have a go at rangers then who knows, they don't look great at the back.
There's a couple of teams that seem that way. For me, Livi is the other one. I know we have a good record against them, even away from home, but it never quite feels like that.
This was not started to bring politics into the discussion, just a suggestion that the club / SPFL should be looking to save monies in the current climate. I don't think the floodlights will be cheap to run especially with the predicted increase in Electricity costs.
We are discussing the cost for fans to watch the games, this is only going to go up as club running costs increase. Should we be looking at a switch to summer football
I've seen nothing to suggest we can't take points off Hearts, Hibs, Aberdeen and Dundee Utd. In fact, I'd be looking for 3 pts from at least 2 of those.
Dont agree with either what you say or whether we should be discussing politics on here.
Also, as being of a certain age and remembering the 3-day week which was in the 1970's (I was at college at the time) is certainly not early 20th century.
As long as he isnt carrying any new injuries we dont know about, if he has had a full pre season behind him, he should certainly be fit for the bench. A 10 / 15 minute cameo will do fine right now.
Looking at the way we are playing now what’s obvious is Alexander actually signed some good players. Goss, Slattery, Tierney, Spittal, McGinn, for starters, he just refused to let them play.
