  1. That's the one that annoys me most too. A simple "born in the country or one parent born in the country" should be the limit.

  2. The grandparent/ancestor rule is one of the (many) reasons that makes International football meaningless to me. If you can pick and choose your nationality in a footballing sense then it just makes a mockery of the whole thing and it is clear that in the case of Angus Gunn that he is opting to ‘be Scottish’ because he knows he has next to no chance of ever featuring for the England national team. I know his father is Scottish but that was the case when Gunn jnr was representing England at every youth level up to u-21, so why else change national team now?

  3. Where he will undoubtedly spend all of his time sitting on the bench. I think Clarke's level of belief and trust in him was shown as he desperately tried to find someone, anyone with a hint of Scottish ancestry who he could choose ahead of Kelly and Clark. Even someone who's knocked us back in favour of England will do. If I was Kelly I'd honestly think about calling it a day on international football. There has to be a point in time where he starts to think that instead of sitting on his arse in Austria, the Faroe Islands, Turkey or Armenia watching Scotland play he could use that free time away from club football to spend more time with his family.

  4. Kettlewell should stick with the current 3-5-2 until we’re safe or it stops working. I'd include Tierney and Crankshaw as the etc you refer to.

  6. The only rumour I've heard (and that's from couple of Rangers supporting mates) is that Scott Arfield has signed a PCA with us. Cannae see it myself but they seem to think it's a goer.
