I know we think KVV is as good as Bergkamp especially after his goal on Saturday, but have a listen to this commentary its brilliant, some people have too much time on their hands.
Mandron and Aitchison are both poor players and need to be let go. Obika as well.
Replacing KVV (and potentially Casey) will be the real test of Kettlewell as a manager.
If this Paul McMullen rumour is true then we are in bother.
I criticised him for being lazy and looking like he did not give a feck towards the end of Hammell's time and it was justified, he downed tools along with a few others who then all suddenly became different players when SK arrived.
So no shame felt by me, if anyone should be ashamed it is the players who downed tools to get rid of a manager and nearly cost the club their premiership status, not to mention a lot of cash from a longer cup run.
Me too. Had we lost that game and finished bottom six then Alexander would have been gone by the end of the season, if not before, and we would have had the chance to appoint a manager and give him an entire pre season to get his own players in. It’s safe to assume that Stevie Hammell wouldn’t have been in contention for the job if it had become available at the beginning of the close season and this season would probably have been a whole lot different.
We would also have been spared Sligo, though I know that some Motherwell fans enjoyed it as they got to go on a ‘European tour’ to the tropical and sunny streets of…erm…Ireland…where they drank loads of beer and made lots of new friends. Cos that’s what fitba is all about eh? 🙄
