  1. I hate both with a passion. At the moment I find Rodgers a total pr1ck. His comments after the cup final about Kipres sending off and his interview after the late goal they got in a 1-1 draw in the invincibles season were outrageous. As for their sisters anyone who has supported the Well as I have done for lots of years will remember the late seventies when with Miller, McVie and Stevens we were hammering them 2-0 and the crowd decided to break in and disrupt the game. After a long delay the game restarted and they won 5-3 and went on to win a treble. No action was taken by the league. Scum then and still are.

  3. Yup, summarised my thoughts on The Cheeks perfectly. The Rangers fans' break-in at Fir Park was sheer intimidation and yet went completely unpunished by the authorities. Rankles to this day. 'Nuff said.

  6. Funnily enough, he failed a school English exam because he was in Manchester watching Rangers. Which explains a lot.

  9. Only because the government, football authorities, police etc etc do next to nothing about it and let the both of them spout their bigoted sectarian shite year after year, nothing ever gets done to eradicate it from modern society.

  10. In my opinion, neither has more influence/clout than the other, but we can all have different opinions on this, likely as a direct consequence of our varied backgrounds and experiences. However, what I don't think is disputed is that it's clear that both have more influence than they should have in football etc. It’s the stain of Central Scotland’s religious tribalism that gives rise to, feeds, and appeases that influence. It's pervasive, nauseating and embarrassing. Much like my personal views on church and state, football and religion should be at a stage now where it can be and should be separate, but that's almost impossible for football culture in Central Scotland due to its social and political history. As a consequence, the collective Catholic and Protestant victim/conspiracy/etc voices will always be heard the loudest in a Scottish football context, and that's unfortunately how it is these days.

  12. Aye, a real shame. Liverpool and Leeds offered him terms to join their Academies and Motherwell were happy with what was proposed compensation wise. Went to train with Liverpool for a couple of weeks prior to deciding who to join, but suffered a bad injury whilst down there. Motherwell stuck by him, hoping he could get back to something like his best. It was encouraging when he made the bench last season......maybe featured once? Sadly his time with us has now come to an end. Good luck to the lad. The damage to his career due to injury at such a young age highlights why it is difficult for youth players to refuse a move when offered attractive terms elsewhere. Nobody knows what is round the corner.

  13. Who gives a rats arse how many penalties the ugly sisters get or give away, they are a cancer on Scottish football that the football authorities including referees pander to constantly to the detriment of every other club in Scotland.

  14. Got to say I’m really disappointed in Kettlewell basically calling out Gent for his mistake which led to the equaliser yesterday . To clarify yes that was indeed the case but thought Kettlewell was above that kinda thing . That’s for the Martindales of this world .Also it’s for the dressing room or during the match debrief a few days later. 100% should have been kept in the dressing room . Noticed Spittal having a pop at him at the end as well . Ok players do that . How the manager naming you publicly helps in your development /experience learning curve god only knows . The young lad has been great since he came in . Enthusiastic ,energetic and a crackin left foot delivery. Probably a bit to learn on defensive side of the game but has loads of time on his side . I can think of a lot more senior players who have cost us wins/draws this season but don’t see him having a pop at them publicly . In fact not just this season but previous as well . So for me poor show . Radio Clyde played a clip of interview and by editing it , it sounded even worse . So for me Kettlewell cut that nonsense out . Your better than that irrespective of what people think about you as a manager . poor show .

  15. I thought that the referee was okay but the VAR officials less so. I must be difficult for the referee when there are teams like County who will feign injury at every opportunity - Brown who appeared to have cut his finger but refused to leave the field and then with the 'head injury' that made him fly two feet off the ground. There was also someone else on the opposite side whose theatrics got Spittal riled up. I'd like Kevin Bridges to be on VAR duty telling the referee "get him tae fuck", "never touched him", "cheating wee fanny", etc. And give us an audio feed too like they have in the rugby.
