  1. Watt might not be the player we once had but he has guile and is a nuisance which might just unsettle Dundee. Anything that better suits Stama and Maswanhise than a back three launching the ball over their heads is worth a try. So yes, give Watt a run from the start, play the ball to his feet and let’s see if that helps those around him. Give Dundee something different to cope with. That said, I fear SK will stick to his guns and set up exactly as usual and as Dundee will anticipate. A 3-5-2 formation which suited them just fine in their last game at Fir Park.

  2. Anywhere away that we havent been before where you could have a good away day and still a decent chance of a win. Musselburgh, Broxburn, Brechin, Fraserburgh Or a winnable hometie against someone we play less often Airdrie, Dunfermline, Dumbarton, Clydebank. Normally I'd put Falkirk, Ayr United, Raith in that category, but our form probably isnt strong enough right now to wish for that, albeit it could be in January. Just anyone but another Premier League side to be honest. You get that anyway if you are lucky enoygh to get to the latter stages.

  4. I ain't a physio......jeez I ain't even a comedian, but I wonder if they are being overworked in training so risk of something going more likely. Again could be totally wrong but it just seems unreal all these long term injuries

  5. The amount of injuries does seem unreal. And questions deserve to be asked regards signing players with a history of injury. But please explain how you avoid an injury such as this. A 22 year old player, mid season, fit and with no injury record. No hint of any achilles issue. Should we just avoid any contact or running at training? I had the same injury a few years ago. Tendon snapped when I bent down to pick something up. No warning signs just happened. Surgeon told I was just unlucky and it could have happened anytime and there was nothing I could have done to avoid it. Just suggested I was fortunate it did not happen when I was driving. Six months to recover, followed by physio and a warning to be careful on stairs etc for a good few months. Not so sure the Robinson injury is one where the Club can be held to account.

  6. This is really becoming unbelievable. Gutted for the lad. Yes I have not been convinced about him but no way would I ever wish any harm. I know folk would say it's bad luck but this is happening too often and when did we last get an injury that happened during an actual game? Apart from SOD and Paton Every injury is long term. Never a 2 or 3 week job Speedy recovery Zach

  7. Whatever system he come up with he also needs to have them start playing as a team. It’s 11 individuals swanning around or at best 3 separate units with no cohesion between them. We need to move up and down the park as a team

  8. Yet again we draw a Premiership side away from home. Thoroughly uninspiring and I fully expect us to lose this tie.

  11. Precisely this. Scunnered. I’m a season ticket holder and I cannot recall voluntarily missing as many home games as I have done this season and last. Unglamorous football will never drive Motherwell fans away, but predictable, amateurish and negative shite will.
