I’m loving that the club shop are offering some old school shirts. The Amber matchwinner shirt currently on offer brings back happy memories. It was the season that sparked the build of the cup winning side and it was the first Steelmen shirt Davie Cooper, Nick Cusack and George Burley ever wore. The newly added Pony shirts are a refreshing addition to the norm of Macron and unbranded naff. But why have they gone for the Battenberg? I mean for f¥ck sake !!! Its predecessor was an absolute bute, was the first whole hoop in years and hosted one of our most successful seasons in living history. 100% missed opportunity!!!

The player who was injured got clapped off - everyone knows that. Twice he suggested that Motherwell fans were laughing at it behind the goals. His exact words were people can say anything at the football these days with no consequences. Poor show. Just sour because they didn't win

For a guy that's supposedly in the back three for his distribution, it shows how bad the others are at passing. Defensively he is a liability. Balmer ain't great, but given our last two results with him in the team, can feel hard done to be dropped for ODonnell.

Though O donnell poor . Could have cost us a few times and distribution lacking. Appeared to be operating below pace of match. St mirren very dirty team. Lucky to only get one red. We never play well after a break - we're the kind of team that needs to be playing competitive games every week. Not unique in that by any means, but not totally surprised we were slow starters today. I also suspect that, as Wimmer said after the first game, the players were still thinking about their additional instructions rather than playing instinctively, and that leads to hesitation and errors. Robinson, however, continues to drag football into the 19th Century.

I tend to agree with that, he's never fit and it seems to have got worse since his wife had the baby, I don't think he wants to be here if some of the online chat is to be believed. As for the 8 weeks out with the broken wrist, that stinks of an excuse, Edin dzeko played for Fenerbache on Thursday night with a cast on his arm ffs, so why can't Stamatelopoulos play.

Quite. I understand that many fans' views on our jersey depend to some extent on the one they first saw The 'Well wear but the Battenberg/Jester's Outfit, particularly with the counterchanged shorts (white ones might just have made it bearable) was an utter honker abominated by many fans. I still have its groovy predecessor in my cupboard, with all its great memories. I'm only saying this in case some blue-spectacle-framed hipster designer called Dork Spandrel or somesuch dares to even think about reheating the B/JO for next season. If so, the claymore's coming oot the thatch.
