  2. I’ll still be going because I’m a longstanding season ticket holder, but I think I’ll genuinely hesitate before renewing next season. VAR and the clowns running it have ripped every bit of spontaneity and enjoyment out of going to the football. It’s supposed to be entertainment, and instead we’re standing about waiting on decisions nobody in the ground can understand. We’re being taken for absolute mugs, and I’m sick of it.

  3. Forgot to mention how great how great it was to see the reaction from the bench when Just scored the Winner. Longello obviously took his flippers off after being sub’d. Best he moved all day. šŸ˜‚ hopefully the big man is back to normal in the next game.

  4. There’s more to the VAR problem than inconsistent interventions and questionable decisions. It disrupts the live match experience to the point where fans can’t even celebrate goals in the moment, because every goal now comes with a long pause while everyone waits to see if it actually counts. It’s sucking the joy out of the game and, at the end of the day, money talks. If this carries on, fans will talk with their feet, and once they start staying away, it will be very hard to get them back. Club chairmen need to act quickly and come together to get rid of this shite before the damage is permanent.

  5. Var has no place in the modern game, all this clear and obvious error pish they keep spouting is nonsense. The ref last Saturday saw nothing wrong in the lead up to Saids goal, he was a few yards away with a great view so no clear or obvious error so why were VAR even involved ffs. They are actively looking for reasons to disallow goals, how Far do you go back in a passage of play etc. As for the offside yesterday no lines shown due to the bargin basement system we have in Scotland, so they basically guessed it was offside, with no conclusive proof. The whole system needs binned ASAP, but if the clubs dont stand up and start complaining nothing will change.

  6. No rush, unless you're planning on going to Hampden on Wednesday.

  7. You’re right, all if’s and but’s, however it does show that every week is a winnable game. If we cut out drastic mistakes we can go on a good run. we talk about lack of scoring but only three teams have scored more, Hearts, Hibs and Dundee Utd but of course, scoring more goals will help.

  9. Would love a non-old firm team to win the league personally, even if it can't be us šŸ™.

  10. I think the issue with Welsh is that he is no longer a young player and unlikely to develop into a player that will be dependable for them in Europe, or sold on for a fee. That being the case, they need to clear some space for the next project. Welsh has been impressive for us since he arrived and is clearly better than anything else we had, whether there will be a queue of bigger clubs lining up for him when his Celtic contract expires, Im not so sure. Id be more than happy for us to get him on a contract though.

  11. I can’t stand Hearts but I am delighted for them as I just want someone to challenge and topple Celtic. I don’t think they are particularly great or great on the eye but one thing they are is robust. Every one of their players is solid and they are not a team who look like they’ll keel over. Every one of our players looks like they are one game away from a long term injury but Hearts are a different animal…. Really solid group.

  12. I wouldn't say Hearts are average, looking very strong and braga and greek winger excellent. Yup for us to have Welsh just makes it even more sweeter

  13. It also took Longelo, Said and Maswanhise out the game as it was nigh impossible to dribble on effectively. Given that they are our "chaos agents" thats a big part of our game nullified before we start.

  14. VAR checks every goal scored regardless of what the linesman says. I don't have any issue with factual interpretations - my suggestion is the law needs to be changed to revert to the spirit of it. You could still either be on or off; just use different criteria. Actually, I'd prefer to ditch VAR, but if we are stuck with it, the laws need to adapt to keep up with the technology.

  15. Whilst I agree with your statement, I absolutely do not believe the technology used in Scotland can prove this beyond doubt.

  17. One of the weird things I've noticed is teams tend to create roughly the same number of chances regardless of actual possession varying by large degrees. I'm not sure how you actually explain that but it's there to see.

  18. Good idea. @SteelmaninOZconsider this your own personal thread for your random video posts.
