  1. The way he backtracked to try and catch that cross was like a guy falling from a tall building. Horrible memory!!

  2. I was listening to Stephen Craigan yesterday and he has changed his tune very much Few months ago at half time 1-0 down to Livingston Jens changing 140 years of Motherwell history . Never going to work blah blah blah but now like every other fan Happy. High praise indeed , basically saying yesterday it is the first time he remembers all Motherwell fans singing from the same hymn sheet

  3. I’m hoping we have this mindset. I’d like for us all to say goodbye to the “punching above our weight” chat. Or what Craigan said today about “we used to go to ibrox scared” p1sh. Statements hidden behind the banner of “being realistic”….. fk realism weve been in the top league for over 40yrs, we should have the attitude that we should be doing better and we should be winning cups. We are good enough to beat everyone else in this league this season…. Go in with the right attitude and we can win any game.

  4. Miller starting again for Udinese today. Good to see him established as a regular now.

  5. Hopefully they still play "Into the Valley" before kick off.

  6. "try and catch" is doing a lot of heavy lifting there. Was like a man in an oversize foam rubber costume flapping at a beach ball on It's a Knockout.

  7. It is bringing back memories of 1987, draw opening up but hopefully not the same heartbreak John Gardiner provided in our quarter final ! Yup...still hurts 😂😂

  8. 66% passing accuracy, according to BBC. He'll have to up that if he wants to come back.

  9. We have a manager who fears no one and is passing it onto the players. Beating Celtic at home was memorable and to do the same to rangers woukd be incredible COYW

  10. I don't think our momemtum will be too bad as, in effect, we have only missed one Saturday game, and our next one is coming up midweek.

  11. From all the interviews from players (and staff), we seem to have the mindset of staying in the present, focus on winning the current game and the league position will take care of itself. All very Zen, but I think its the best strategy as there's no need to put any additional pressure on the players. I have no doubt the team will be well prepared and well drilled for this one, so it's all about executing the plan. With the current team I don't expect to win every game, but I go into every game thinking it's very winnable. This one is no different.

  12. Agreed. The only real benefit is to allow any niggly wee injuries that players are carrying to settle down, and you dont pick up any more injuries or suspensions. Given that we actually had games that might have been played, it wont have allowed much more prep for this game as we would have been focussed on Dundee and Aberdeen. We are at home however, and with the bigger home supports we have experienced of late, I imagine the atmosphere for this one could be quite tasty.
