Can't imagine why anyone would hate Dundee United to be honest! Have had many a good day out to Tannadeechee, and they were a great team to watch in the 80's (but unlike Aberdeen, their fans don't believe this still entitles them to be winning everything 20 years later). United have a long history of bottling it in finals, but I think (hope) they'll probably just scrape it.

You could always acquire a sudden interest in Formula 1 -- qualifying live on BBC on Saturdays, racing live on BBC on Sundays, all through the summer. (But admittedly not every weekend.) Personally, I have loads of old stuff on the Sky+ and about 6 million DVDs still in their shrinkwrap that all need watching...

A fair assessment. Any season that starts with a European tie and ends with having something to play for up to the last minute of the last game has to go down as one to remember.

Think it would smack a bit of sour grapes for us to pursue that angle with the SPL. Fourth place has been in our own hands for weeks and we passed up the opportunity, simple as. Just need to dust ourselves down and try harder next season!

We've also scored 9 goals in our last two games and won neither of them. That must be some sort of record too!
