    Downtime...

Making room for all that live streaming video of home games we'll be getting soon, eh?

True... having an Adidas kit in the 80's didn't exactly set our heather on fire

"Peripheral Vision Enhancement: Reflector dots and CCC logos on the shoulder that react to sunlight and floodlights - Help to pick out team mates in a tight situation." You couldn't make it up

I see also that you can buy the 'real' team shirts in the Portsmouth store, in addition to the usual replicas, for £100 a pop-- wonder if we'll be doing the same?! Portsmouth Elite Shirt (Click "More Info" for some of those technical specs that MMcG was supposed to have been impressed by...)

On the plus side, it's fairly common for rugby kits to sport a hoop that goes all the way round, so here's hoping
  6. We'd still lose. They had far more pace, strength and skill in most areas of the park.
  7. As a football ground isn't a public place, though, they would presumably be entitled to have the photo removed from the website, if they felt that strongly about it...
  8. As announced on the 'fishel site.
  9. Cool... can we dock his wages for tonight's performance?
  10. Sooner we get back to a proper bumpy pitch with no grass on it, the better.

    Help Tonight

You're not missing much, frame rate has dropped to about one a minute since everyone else started watching it!
  12. Bit of a flap from Buzz there, got away with it though... all St.Mirren at the moment...

    Help Tonight

Take it we still don't have Motherwell TV on the 'fishel website then? I see the JustinTV link that was going to be showing the second half has been pulled, so looks like it'll have to be radio-only tonight for me... EDIT: No sooner posted than this link starts working
  14. Do they boo Marc Fitzpatrick every time he touches the ball as well, then?

Don't see why not... I still remember all the hype around Ally's Tartan Army for the '78 World Cup, and I was only 7 then...
  16. Nothing to do with us sticking a fork through them last season, I'm sure

Well, if he ever gets the chance to line up for Ireland against Scotland and see what he's missing, remind me to boo him then. Until then, personally, I couldn't give a monkey's what he does-- we've got more than enough players of our own to abuse without worrying about the likes of him
  18. Dunno, but I can play your embedded version just fine...
  19. Chris "Christian" McClure...? (Even if he was born across the road from Ibrox...)
  20. A lot of those things could still be accommodated via the U19 setup if they were to allow one or two over-age players in the squad. Might benefit the U19's themselves to occasionally have a more experienced player alongside them, too.
  21. Don't expect one anytime soon... I don't think anyone at MFC is allowed to reply to emails until all their carrier pigeons have died off.
  22. Which would be a fine recommendation, if Fir Park was a golf course. I can't imagine two much more different grass playing surfaces to look after than a golf course and a fitba' pitch, though. What's his record with those?
  23. It seems ridiculous to me that the players are training on it at all when it's in such a mess, let alone under a heated dome. I can imagine exactly where Andy Russell would have told Mark McGhee to stick that idea, regardless of how far away the nearest usable alternative training facilities were!
  24. Not really, because if he hadn't scored, that means something else happened instead. That "something else" could have lead, directly or indirectly, to any number of other outcomes...
