I don't think weeyin was criticising Coach for talking about it to the press, just his one comment that "hopefully, one day I will speak about what has happened to me and the truth will come out", as if there was some mad consipiracy theory floating around that we were all desperate to hear about... and even if there was, that didn't really seem like the time to mention it anyway.

There are a couple of apps out there that will download RealPlayer streams; if they're really protected from that, then there are even more apps that will record the output from your soundcard as they're playing....

I don't think it's a knee-jerk reaction, we've clearly been playing poorly for a wee while now. But at the same time, I don't think any manager deserves the sack after one bad less-than-half season (more like quarter-season in fact, given we were third after the first quarter). Especially having had some success the previous season--it would be different if he'd come in and been mince right from the start.

As he was the last time we were looking, but ISTR he wasn't too impressed by the idea... can't imagine he'd fancy it any more now!

I'm still waiting on anyone from the club to be courteous enough to let me know if I've got a seat on the flight to Nancy, despite emailing the original address (twice) long before the first batch were reportedly sold out, and before the email system went down (or at least, before any alternative address was provided). After the flooding hoo-hah, I emailed the backup address a couple of times asking to put my name down for a seat, too, but still no reply--even an automated response would have been better than nothing. (Then tried phoning a couple of times to see whether anyone had actually received any of my emails, but that caused a rapid loss of will to live.) Ah well, maybe in another 12 years' time.
