I really can't see why anyone would invest in the society or club at this time. I love the club as much as everyone else but I fear if the season does not improve and the worst happens Administration is inevitable if we manage to survive and stay in SPL the club's financial position will be in a far worse place than they are just now so what no doubt require another loan which takes the society backward again. I hope the society prove me wrong and is a success but to me it will be a constant plea to fans for cash as the club finances continue to decline Sorry for the negativity

If we did sign Clarkson,McCall would prob have played him out of position like he has done with most players

To be fair all of Steelboys points are valid although I don't see who will be able to change things. Josh Law just isn't good enough surely McCall must see that by now. I really hope he turns it around. I would give Erwin a run in the team at the expense of Big Sutton to get a bit of energy

The thing that worries me is if Mccall goes the rumour is Leitch will get the job and if that happens I think it would be a disaster. I remember the poor press he got when McGhee was at Aberdeen it was reported Leitch had lost the dressing room by the way he spoke to players. The worry for me is I don't think McCall has any ideas on what to do next and is just hoping we get back to winning ways

The problem we have is we seem to play too many players out of position, I don't actually know what position Law is meant to be. Vigurs playing on the right then big Erwin playing on left wing. I really can't see how we can get out of this at the moment as we are unable to create much. Losing 7 goals against Hamilton and Thistle has to set alarm bells ringing.I don't want McClure out but maybe dropping the likes of Law and maybe give Lasley a wee spell on bench would help

I really don't see what influence Flow has on the team performance, if we were doing well would we be saying how great he is doing, I don't think anybody else in his position would make a difference to the dreadful performances we have saw, if we are all honest it's been coming let's hope it a kick up the arse we are needing

I hope this is not true but wonder if there is any chance of the Fulham job with Hutch there and us playing them pre season maybe he has connections at Fulham prob not but would be a good job for him

We were terrible didn't deserve anything at all, only positive was Kerr who had by far his best game in a motherwell shirt, I think some of the problem lies with playing players out of position, today we had no natural left sided player which caused us problems I felt that Thomas may have gave us more on the left I really fear for Lasley this season I hope he is just having a slow start but don't think he looks the same player but it's still too early to write him off as he has pulled us through games in the past. Today was the third similar performance at Fir Park and there seems to be a real lack of creativity in midfield

Great signing, it goes to show how much of a difference one quality signing can make everyone is more positive, really looking forward to Saturday now

The O'brien move seem a bit of a risk really as he seems very injury prone much like Ramsden but will need to give him a chance if he signs

To say I'm disappointed about last nights result is an understatement, when we go 2-1 up with 20 mins to play you think surely that's us through but when I saw the two substitute I got the fear. I just don't get Kerr or ZFA playing in midfield. I said last night the result last night will define our season by who we can bring in to strengthen squad but now it looks like that won't happen I just hope player like Thomas, Erwin and Leitch are given a chance. For the first time ever I'm not looking forward to the new season results like last night and Albion Rovers make you question things but the truth is no matter what happens il never stop following Motherwell but surely questions must be asked about the defeat. I felt this whole European campaign had a negative feel to it, maybe a year or two without Europe wouldn't be the worst thing that happens as we have probably got used to it over the years but without the fight for Europe what is there to play for?

Yet again Carswell not near u21 squad

After Saturday Higginbottom will always be disliked by the majority of Well fans for his antics, I actually think it adds to the atmosphere. It got me thinking what other players get the same treatment at Fir Park, I always remember Dave McPherson getting the donkey treatment and Tom Boyd got dogs abuse on his return but what player do you think gets the most abuse at Fir Park, hopefully none of our own players lol

Dortmund away was great, although I was still at School it was a great trip, the game wasn't bad either if only Tommy Coyne had scored

I think the back 4 have no confidence in him which effects there game. Every time the ball goes into the box I could feel the crowd getting anxious. The Aberdeen players got a boost when they saw how poor he was, surely the time will come to field the u20 keeper. I don't recall any good saves from Neilson yesterday other than shots hit straight at him.

The money get branded about for Goodwillie if unbelievable, if Dundee Utd don't want him then that must show how much they rate him, I would rather have Sutton, Anier or Faddy than him. Always thought he was over rated anyway.

Not sure that Cummings would make much difference at the moment, we have Kerr to slot in and have Euan Murray as Central cover. I would not be surprised if Hammell played RB with Zaine at LB

No Paul Harvey

Slightly disappointed he didn't get a move to Dundee as they are top of the league and he may have found another level when challenging for the title but I really hope he does well. Another positve is Moore may get more game time as on occasion I think McCall always want to give Bob a chane( that is not a criticism of McCall)

The two players this season have been excellent they have both been consistent yet they fail to get plaudits like others. I don't believe Carswell has even had an u21 call up (could be wrong). Ramsden is a great versitle player and possibly my pick for player of year. Dundee United seem to have an ability to have there players recognised with the media and before we know they are £2million players, I'm not saying either two are of that value but surely Carswell must be looked at as an exciting prospect and included in the u21 setup. Both have been instrumental in our recent form.

I watched the game on Alba and thought Faddy had a great game wee passes linking up play was great, I thought we missed him when he went off. Vigurs also played really well although still room for improvement. I hate to say it but Neilsen looks terrible I know he got a clean sheet but always seems to make more saves with legs and body than hands, his decision to come off his line is most worrying and thought he would have learned from Perth but he might improve after a few games

My post wasn't meant to be negative but I always feel we are the team that breaks the mould one game that springs to mind is the 6-5 game v Aberdeen they hadn't scored or got a point that season and looked what happend, as I said I hope I'm wrong but just get the fear for games like this

I hate it when everyone expects us to win, I have a horrible Albion Rovers feeling that we are too confident, it would be the Motherwell way to go to Edinburgh and get beat really hope I'm wrong
