  1. Love the idea of a bus load of well player going mental on the way back from training when they heard Gannon had been sacked. Only to be met by the press when they pulled up outside fir park and trying to look calm.

  2. Pretty much my thoughts Iain, although I'd be looking for a minimum of £400k for Heneghan . Surprised at some folk on here talking our players down. For years we've been decrying the club for not maximising transfer income. As regards Heneghan he's no world beater but not half as poor as some folk think. He can't be that bad if there's 3 English reportedly showing an interest in him. As regards comparison with Boyce's value there's various complicating factors, but don't forget he played in a better team than Moult did, and presumably benefitted from better support. .

with regards to those who talk down our players worth. I think you'll find the same people talk down everything to do with the club. I guess everyone is entitled to there opinion, however I prefer to check the names of the posters before I read the posts and just don't bother reading what the trollers have to say. Just don't rise to there desperation to cause controversy.

  3. Not read the thread but he's shit. No experience. Jobs for the boys and only got the gig as under contract. But he's had to get something as retiring. McFadden was pish. He hasn't the experience. He will be loyal to his pals. It's only cause he has a contract and we can't afford to get rid of him

Aww away gies peace let's see how it works out ?

think you maybe should have had a read first. However I'm sure the trolls will soon climb out from under there rocks. Good luck Keith.
  4. For fuck sake. With that type of logic im guessing Rodgers and hammersiteins estates must be making millions, Going by the amount of times Liverpool & Celtic have sung "you'll never walk alone" or maybe not.

  5. Would like to think the board are just using the rangers as a pawn. Let them start the bidding for moult. Hopefully then the clubs down south will see how serious we are about his valuation and come in for him with realistic bids. Or any other player for that matter.

  6. Never really showed any sign of a long lost goodbye as he walked off. Sadly it's inevitable that louis will leave sooner rather than later. His stock cant really get much higher remaining with us. However i would imagine we will all still be scraching our heads with regards as to how much for. The board do love an undisclosed fee.

  7. Im a fan of lionel, however like most on here i dont think he turns up on the park often enough. So i feel a short term deal, say to christmas, to prove himself to the manager. With us holding the option on a future contract extension. There isn't any doubt the ability is there. It's just his attitude on the park that needs to change. If that didn't suit him then he's free to leave now with us all wishing him well.

  8. OK, so yet again another defeat. Still think there was a lot of positives to be taken from yesterday's game. On another day we could have won comfortably. We're not dead and buried. There certainly will be a lot of exciting games after the split and I for one think we will be fine. This ain't about being a happy clapper and more about trying to remain positive. Hope the player think the same.

  9. Get the feeling that quite a few on here had there paragraph written and ready to send regardless of who was named as manager. Time to get real with regards to the size of our club and the budget we can offer our manager. For those who are moaning about the appointment. who do you really think a club of our standing can attract as a manager? Robinson deserves our full support. And the club as a whole badly needs it if we are to survive this relegation battle. Get out and get behind them this Saturday. And for the rest of the season. No one here supports 'the well' because of how big and successful we are. But we all still love the club anyway. Don't we?

  10. A Duffy appointment, if that was to happen, would do nothing to get attendances up. In fact I could see a whole new group of supporters claim to not be coming back until he has gone. Especially after the way he spoke with regards to the fans having a voice. Hopefully this is just bookies putting up a 2+2=5 scenario.

  11. The guys are already at the club. Craigen,Lasley, mcfadden, hammel. Men with the club in there heart and the passion to keep us up. They collectively know each players ability and strengths therefore hopefully a system good enough to help us survive. Not saying this could be a long-term answer but i dont think bringing in a stranger to the club would help right now. Just get rid of that clown mcghee. He is so delusional he's probably waiting on a call from Leicester city to save them anyway.

  12. Burrows better do the right thing soon then. Going by the unhappy hordes in the Hunter stand yesterday. As fans stop coming through the gates direct debits to the well society will be getting cancelled also. Then where the hell will our club be? Does anyone really think fan ownership will generate enough funds to survive if we go down. The board need to start being proactive soon. Before its to late.

  13. Burrows should encourage mcgee to walk now for the sake of the club. Then follow him straight out the door. Get someone in who cares more about running the club and less about how he is being perceived by the media. Should hibs and Dundee utd get promotion and we go down the championship would be a league with no real big games and very poor attendances. financially I don't think we could ever recover from relegation. The rest of this season really could have a definitive affect on the history of our club.
