The point about finishing in 6th place means that you are guaranteed a prize money payment in April. If you finish outside the top 6 you don't get anything until July so finishing in the top 6 means you have cash flow to see you through the summer months.

This is a massive game for us. If we win we will secure top six and we will be another game closer to securing European football again for next season. Saying someone has been poor all season is hardly abusing him is it? Hammell and Hutchinson have been criticised for games they have been poor in but they have also had good games this season. Good performances from Tom Hately this season have been few and far between.

I will repeat what I said in another thread. If we win this game we are very close to securing top six football at least. The sooner we secure that the quicker we can start concentrating on getting second place. This will put us 8 points clear of Dundee United and Killie and 9 clear of Aberdeen with only 12 points to play for. I'm thinking we will win 1-0 with Higdon getting an early goal (very much like the game we secured 3rd last season) and us seeing the game out for the all important win. I'd love Faddy to get a goal though. Come on the Well!!!
