  1. Incident with McGinley a 118mins, after was 4 minutes, Hibs player red carded, another off with a blood injury, ref blows whistle ..... ref shat it. Regardless we should have taken our chances when they were gilt edged. Magliore should keep his head down on the bus home.
  2. Any momentum we had disappeared at 5 mins into ET.
  3. Off you trott, don’t let the door his yer arse on the way out. Take your “Rule Britannia”, solidarity with Palestinians and “Tiocfaidh ár lá” pish with you too.
  4. I don't think GA will be leading us into season 2022/23
  5. It wasn't OFT's maiden name, but then OTF met a creative midfielder with the world at his feet and joined twitter. From when he was appointed he had 3 weeks to do deals, not a great amount of time, but the scouting network was in place and names would have been floated. Ultimately he didn't live in a vacuum since he left Salford. He would have had the final say .... and some of those signings were questionable. He doesn't bare all the blame, signing a crock in Foley for example. The issue for me is we've won a few, but we've won ugly as hell at times (but maybe no worse than what we experienced on the other side in the first half of the season). We've robbed points from Killie and St Mirren. While I'm happy to win under these circumstances on occasion, it makes tough watching if it's the norm. Yes we are in a cup quarter final, sounds good doesn't it. To get there we humped part timers after receiving a humping of our own in the league and scraped through against a team fighting for Championship survival. As with everything it is all about context. There are a number of malingerers in the squad and they will go. I expect the team will be fitter than ever before come August. However his stock has risen based on his remit, the place the club was in January and that form table. While OFT is often harder to decipher than the DaVinci code at times, he's right much more than he's wrong, even if you don't personally like the code or content. And no .....my first name isn't Liam.
  6. Be a bit tough, she went 16 years ago ...... and cremated ...... and I'm not Thanos
  7. Somebody change this to "Willie Pettigrew Interview"
  8. The only entertaining thing for me in the past 4 months is the league table tonight and Hibs away. The rest has been like paying £1,000 for a lapdance and yer maw comes out
  9. Results going our way for 7th, every league place is worth about £60k in prize money. 9th to 7th is a solid first team player at our level. Hibs will destroy us unless we show up like we did the last time we played Hibs. Evidence on tonight is not hopeful. How long is Roberts out?
  10. 6 cops to move on a guy and his Mrs ...... they're not having a good week are they?
  11. Not think there's an element of it you put him in a squad of higher quality players he will flourish in the same way Andy Robertson does in Red but not in Dark Blue? Bit sad to see some writing him off after being one of our stand out performers over the past 3 seasons. Granted few have covered themselves in glory this season but the only one's on that list are probably only Kelly, Watt, Roberts and at times Cole (2 of which are on loan and one who's contract ends). He's got dedication, drive and a work ethic that if a few others in the team had we'd no be in the mire we've been in this year. He does the unglamorous job in the middle, often not given credit when he's there but massively missed when he's not.
  12. Does that extend to Ricey, Melloni & Wrighty too?
  13. Here was me thinking all we had to do was outperform them by 3 points in the last 4 games.
  14. 'Flow likes to keep stuff on the lowdown. Why do you think O'Donnell re-signed? Lure of the Bernabau for Scotland's premier right back. Will make the Euro's interesting if players at the 12 announced are pied. England will probably field something like: Pope (Burnley) Trippier (Althetico Madrid) - Stones (Man City) - Maguire (Man Utd) - Chilwell (Chelsea) Mount (Chelsea) - Rice (West Ham) - Foden (Man City) - Grealish (Aston Villa) Kane (Spurs) - Sterling (Man City) Subs: Rashford (Man Utd) Henderson (Liverpool) Shaw (Manchester Utd) Alexander Arnold (Liverpool) A keeper and two midfielders left if they're banned .... delightful. Of course we'd lose Tierney, McTominay and Robertson. McGinley is in with a shout
  15. Looking forward to the cash handout when we're invited to the European Super League .....
  16. With this whole affair I think there are a few things everyone can agree on: There was a trigger clause in his contract, brought to public attention in a newspaper article (more about that below), known about in private before and confirmed by AB by what he didn't say at the AGM. The trigger clause was a win win for both player and club, here is some extra money .... play well and you'll earn a move in Jan and we get a wee kickback. If not you get that extra money for 2 years, stability and we retain your services to next summer and get a larger sum or see out your contract till 2022 and retain an International defender in the squad. He's not played as well as he did last season. Most rational supporters will have no issue with a player looking to move to better themselves at a higher level, make more money or for family/geographic reasons. It is no more than you'd hope for yourself in your own career. Most rational supporters will have no issue if a player conducts themselves with a degree of decorum and respect for their employer, especially if they are captain. However, most rational supporters will have issue if a player looks too much like a mercenary and does their talking in a tabloid opposed to on the pitch. The timing of his injury was unfortunate for fuelling conspiracy theorists and for retaining his Scotland starting position. He will be boo'd by a significant amount of the home support upon his return in anything other than C&A, (if Reynolds is despite leaving under the best of terms then Dec has no chance). I do have an issue with the club captain either under his own volition or at the direction of a representative to use a friendly hack to remind those of his availability and that in a few weeks time there would be a transfer fee required because he would then have 18 months left of his deal. "Roll up! Roll up! this offer won't be here for much longer".
  17. IF we progress ...... Hibs will tear us a new arsehole
  18. Things to take from this so far: It looks like the Cooper is getting a facelift too. East/Hunter doesn’t look like it’s getting a design like it had before other than 7 blocks of colour. Surprised at that. Liam Kelly has secured us 7 points at least with his timely contributions. Can we to play highland league opposition in every round of the cup going forward please?
  19. Sincerely can't fathom the Kelly chat. He's a QPR player who earned a decent move to a mid table championship club. So talk of him maybe getting a move to a decent English side, he's kinda already there, just not favoured. They have someone ahead of him in the pecking order so the chance of regular game time to a club in a bit of bind was no doubt welcome by all parties. He's still got a two years on his deal there and on decent wedge. The only way he'd come north in the summer is to go to Edinburgh or Aberdeen I suspect based on their spending power. Only thing we may have is Alexander may give him the "We're building something great here" speech, regular football or some extra x-factor. You'd expect Carson to be fit by August so do you think he'd return from QPR to be an understudy at FP?
  20. After this season I'd settle for losing 10x underachievers and getting in 5x aboveaveragers. Of course we could rock up in August with a lean, mean, 3 pointing machine and do a Leicester. As OTF points out in his own inimitable way, Robinson near the end and Alexander have tended to favour "experience" over age. I'd say ambition and hunger in a young immature lad can often make up for someone stolling it at their 10th club in 10 years. The lack of engagement as reported with the fringe players is if the case, is concerning because so much of our model depends on that conveyor belt. It's earned us £5m+ in the past few years. Essentially Alexander comes across as a hard taskmaster who's office you go to only for a bollocking not a friendly coffee and hobnob.
  21. From who, auld Davie and his dug from Silvertonhill and that wee female casual from the documentary?
