  1. From what i've heard so far he sounds like a good signing so far, maybe a more attacking and creative player than Lasley or Jennings. Not that his goalscoring record worries me or that but i was just wondering, when was the last time we had a midfielder that chipped in with about 10 goals a season?
  2. You are mental mate. I know a couple of blokes who if you seen them playing fives or having a kickabout down the park you'd think they were absolutely amazing and possibly wonder why they weren't pros. Closest any of them got to playing professional football was half a season playing reserve football with cowdenbeath. Every player playing for an SPL club is a helluva lot better than you must think
  3. Aye but if Humphrey or Murphy want to receive a through ball they need to make the run, if they're standing still facing our own goal then the passer has no option but to give to feet. Sometimes i get the feeling that Hump doesn't realise he's fast due to his lack of movement looking for through balls. Can be really frustrating as the boy does have the pace and (occasionally) the ability
  4. I see the Pars have signed Partick's left back Patrick Boyle, who i seem to remember McGhee wanted to sign for us in his second season from Dumbarton. 3rd division to SPL in 2 and a half years is no bad
  5. Naw mate this is the "In's and Out's" thread
  6. I reckon he'll do that, only a year or two left in the good man
  7. should put a **WARNING** on that thing
  8. I'm up now. Off to catch the Stra'ven bus at 9 and head straight for a drink
  9. Haha aye he looked a right wee poser wae they wee y-fronts on and all
  10. Torn between my current home top (nae sponsor) and the 91 replica i've got. Think it might be the current top, think it's cracking
  11. When does it start? Didn't see a time mentioned in the origional post
  12. Ballot tickets aren't necessarily next to each other mate
  13. Ah, understood! So Mr Lasley will make an appearance next then?
  14. you love posting a good old random picture these days don't you?
  15. 4-5-1 for me. With Ledley and Kayal both out, Las, Jenno and Hateley could run that midfield and allow Murphy and Humphrey to push right up (almost a 4-3-3) Randolph Ross Hutch Gunning Hammell Hateley Lasley Jennings Humphrey Murphy Sutton Subs: Hollis, Craigan, Jeffers, Jones, Forbes
  16. 'Unlikely there will be a full general sale' it says. Must mean there has been a good 5000 applied through the ballot
  17. 'Tis a bit harsh. In Hughes first season here i thought he was excellent
  18. I for one would love to one of them
  19. Managed to get all 16 of us sitting together today The seats are in row EEE mind you Can't complain too much but.....at least we've got...
  20. I agree totally, but i meant it has actually been sung slowly like that already this season. Would be good if it were to happen but i can't really see it, not to the same scale anyway
  21. Me and a bunch of my mates would be in the same boat, don't know how many times i've bought a ticket for away games and been asked to give my details as they couldn't seem to find ones i've given previously
