Centre of midfield and up front is the problem i reckon. Last night Hateley was absoluteley awful and we missed Lasley hugely but i don't think (however much i like him) that Las is the answer. We need a much more forward thinking central midfield who's willing to get forward and fill up the humungous space that often appears between Sutton/Murphy and centre of our midfield and completely isolates them. Due to this the high balls up to the strikers that were constantly played last night were pointless and hugely frustrating (as anyone at the game last night would agree with). Casagolda when coming on last night did ok, lots of effort and a couple of decent touches, but can't see him ever scoring for us. We just need somebody who can hit the back of the net now and again and can hold up the ball which murphy and sutton never did once last night.

Jones for me, only beat their full back and put a cross in a few times but that was more than anyone else did. Terrible

Money they don't have?? Just because they spend an extra 500k a year doesn't necessarily mean they have it or make it. Possibly Mr Boyle is much more cautious (and i'm sure he is) than other chairmen in the league. If this is the case (that they spend an extra 500k per annum) and we continually finish above them, then that says a lot for our players, our management and our board

Obviously we had to be drawn away but! i'd like to see our ratio of home:away games in the Scottish cup. But believe me, i'm not complaining this time!!

Fitz for me also. Thought he worked extremely hard, played a simple passing game and won more than his fair share of tackles. Jennings and Lasley will struggle to keep their place in the team if he stays

Who's to say that the team who is 10 points clear didn't get a few offside decisions/penalties going their way during the course of the season to hand them the points that put them in front in the first place? Are the one-off cup games unfair as well?? I'm all for the play-offs personally. Wee bit more excitement for us and a wee bit more cash for the club
