  1. It was a joke they don't exist - Piotr van der tobin was one of the names mentioned
  2. Just about deserved 3 points today, wasn't pretty 15mins spell in first half and last 15mins 2nd. Looked to be have better shape and looked better defensively. Ripley - decent game though may have been culpable at thistle goal. Distribution ropy but when it mattered most came and collected crosses at the end. Grimshaw - all over the place positionally in first 10mins but settled in to a good game. Kennedy - poor distribution and dodgy start but was a colossus in 2nd half won absolutely everything going. McManus - much improved pergormance Chalmers - ok though struggles badly with pace. Ainsworth - good game 2 assists and had 2 other wonderful runs that nearly resulted in goals. Lasley - improved today with centre midfield partner alongside, tackling becoming a worry though someone going to get s broken leg soon. Pearson - surprise return. Good start then tired as expected in second half. Johnson - missed an early chance and seemed short of confidence afterwards though worked his socks off. McDonald - goal glossed over what was a hopeless performance. Moult - got kicked up and down the park but put a shift in Subs Leitch - strange first sub but got wired in Thomas - frustrating, one paced Fletcher - another surprise return put himself about
  3. Jackie McNamara got hung by his own rope. He was due a cut of every player he sold therefore was actively touting every decent player in the first team after a few games
  4. Ainsworth closely followed by Kennedy. McManus much improved too
  5. Big mixu taking notes in main stand preparing for interview
  6. I'd be very surprised if we are playing 352 with ainsworth and Johnson as wing backs
  7. What about Lasley hammell Mcdonald and the others too? They have been equally shite. You being selective to suit your own agenda?
  8. Please refrain from talking absolute bollocks. To suggest he's a cancer is nonsense. The only think he's guilty of is being not very good.
  9. 100% agree. You only need to look at the success Aberdeen have had with a recruitment policy in league 1 England (or Inverness with the conference for that matter) to know the level of the spfl premier league
  10. Yeah most likely. But given he's contracted to Newcastle United on at least £0.5m a year as assistant manager that's pretty much a non starter
  11. Lasleys effort can never be called in to question. His ability however....
  12. Jackson is the defensive minded midfielder at Ross county with woods or gardyne pushing forward to support
  13. A very reliable source told me that towards the end of last season Mcdonald questioned barracloughs team selection and tactics in the dressing room before the game and that Mcdonald had generally too much say in team matters. Although given that he was signed on again this season barraclough must have respected his opinions
  14. What did you want him to say though? If he said we could finish 11th he would have got slaughtered too. Mind everyone was up in arms for McCall saying the highest we could finish 3rd (pre sevco) and got slaughtered for a lack of ambition
  15. Scary thought - we received £900k in transfer fees for clarkson and slim Jim. The clarkson fee must be up there with the worst business Bristol city ever done
  16. It's highly likely an element of both was involved
  17. I wouldn't be averse to mixu
  18. I know where you are coming from but the club has to weigh up what he would bring to the first team right now and the players development. When Pearson is back cadden has virtually no chance of playing much more than a handful of minutes a game whereas he would benefit from first team experience elsewhere, the club would benefit long term too. Much the same situation with Craig Moore (although I think long term cadden has a greater chance of making at Motherwell than Moore)
