  1. Faddy in central midfield has the potential to be a rip roaring success.
  2. Both weren't at their best yesterday granted but law and McManus have been decent recently so will cut them some slack. Law stopped a certain goal with a block after McManus error too. And McManus assisted our goal. Both need to be better on Saturday however although that could be said for most of the team. There's a lot of knee jerking went on yesterday and I was guilty of it too. We need to take something positive (including points) from our next two games though or the knives are going to be out for Mcghee. For what it's worth I still think he's the man for the job.
  3. Defeats in our next 2 games then the board need to show some serious bollocks
  4. For what is worth (not a lot I know) but I would have started three in midfield today too so not going to criticise too much on that part cause that's where Inverness have had our number in the past. But my god anyone and their dug could have seen it wasn't working from about 20mins in til the end and should have been changed quicker. High balls to Mcdonald - what the fuck?? But Mcghee seemed more determined to prove he was right and accept a draw at home to Inverness in the cup. It's that how much we've fallen that we are playing for draws against partick and ict within the matter of a few days
  5. Your absolutely 100pc correct with the second part
  6. Bang on the money! He doesn't increase crowds. Signing him would be as much a waste of money as the Clarkson or Robinson signing.
  7. In the interests of fairness and balance according to espn ainsworth has our most assists. That probably tells you more about his teammates than him as he's barely played this season
  8. Think it's more to do with the fact that this time yesterday Alan burrows thought our own transfer window closed at 5pm
  9. He should only be offered a deal to end of season if we have explored all avenues and can't replace him with similar or better quality. This whole faddy pantomime is getting tiresome
  10. His sister in laws involved at Motherwell is she not?
  11. All I can mind of him was scoring twice in the first 8mins or so at cappielow. Us scoring two early goals was virtually unheard of back then which is why I seem to remember it.
  12. Hopefully not the end of the good news today
  13. The rumours regarding faddy is Dumbarton not MLS
  14. I normally agree with most you normally post but suggesting that cadden can step into Pearson boots after his first full 90 minutes at premiership level is insane. A game where he was directly responsible for one of the two goals which we conceded nonetheless. I think you may need to reign in your expectation of the lad a little, as do many yesterday who thought he was excellent. In my opinion no one was excellent yesterday. A box to box midfielder also needs to have some dig and defensive discipline. I don't see cadden having that yet, although I believe there is some merit in being considered in the role he played yesterday. Cadden (and watt for that matter who many believe should also be in first team) still have a long way to go. They have shown glimpses of being capable but no more than that. This time last season Dom Thomas was flavour of the month on the forum and before that there were even clamours for euan Murray to be included in the first team on the strengths of their performances for the U20's. That level is a million miles from senior level. It's always good to have homegrown local lads in the first team and I hope he, and others, succeeds but we shouldn't be setting unrealistic expectations of them. I'm confident the manager will develop them accordingly.
  15. Hamilton had an extra man for about 50minutes that's what happened
  16. Cadden did very well over the piece but if McManus chalmers law etc made a mistake like he did for the first goal they would be crucified on here. The important thing is cadden learns from it and ensures it doesn't happen again. There were no standout performances yesterday. If it was based solely on effort then Mcdonald would have been my man of the match but he's incapable of finding a pass to his teammates right now.
  17. The two posts above are bang on the money. Mcghees predecessors should have addressed this issue. Mcghee should now make it a priority
  18. Zain's Francis Angol equalises for Hamburg v Bayern Munich
  19. Blair Alston from Falkirk should be worthy of consideration for next season - see st Johnstone have offered him a pre-contract
  20. He is a terrific footballer. He played very briefly for a team I was involved in a year and a bit ago but left to have another stab at senior football, which, frankly, is the level he should be playing at. But for some reason or another it's not worked out for him which is a shame cause he's got the talent and he's s decent person in to the bargain
