Deliberate...as per the rules that's the issue for me, did McHugh make a deliberate attempt to catch/handle the ball, did he feck, he was trying to block the shot, so imo it's ball to hand. But that said his arms were well away from the body so not in a natural position. So no deliberate handball, no pen, no 2nd booking, no sending off and possibly a different result at the end. But thanks to Thompson applying the green and blue version of the rules of football, we ended up with a ruined game. This week Rangers allegedly made a complaint about Willie Collum over the Candiaes nonsense, but how many times has Motherwell suffered due to Thompson making a James Hunt of it, St Johnstone game in Perth, League cup Final, and now Ibrox ,but nothing said by the club. It's time somebody at First park grew a set and made an official complaint, get it in the press as well, if Brenda and Stevie G can do it the other clubs need to as well.

Just watched the highlights, don't know why but I did, and all I can say is that prick Thompson ruined the game for us again, A couple of points to note, McHughs 1st booking was a joke Morelos is a diving cheating arsehole. 2nd point the pen was probably justified but could Thompson be 100% sure watching it real time and was it a booking as well , I think not. Also once again we had Morelos in Thompsons face screaming for the booking and then a round of applause when he obliged but no action taken. None of that excuses us for downing tools and giving up after their 2nd goal but 25mins in and 1-1 it was game on, until the prick of a ref handed Rangers their bonus, but as we all know he has previous for it,

It finished 8-0 to Hibs, to be honest it was over as a contest after 5 mins , the final score highlighted the huge gulf in class between the teams.

Still not sure what point you are trying to make re Morrison, players get loaned out 1. To develop them , get game time and come back a better player 2. Because they are on the fringes of the team, not seen as likely to step up and basically surplus to requirements, loan them out and run down their contract at minimal cost to the club . I suspect Morrison is option 2 so simple question if SR called him back and put him straight into the 1st team as you suggest, would he be better than Carson or Gillespie?

So you think Morrison, playing in a team currently 42nd out of 42 teams in Scotland with the worst goal difference in their league is a better option than Carson and Gillespie, okay then .

So on what evidence are you suggesting these players are ready for the step up to the 1st team ? Doing well against similar and in many cases poorer opposition each week is a million miles away from playing against a premiership team every week. If they were good enough they would get their chance, the same way Cadden , Campbell and others before them did. The reality however is that the vast majority of that reserve side will never make it at the top level, so I am sure if Crags, Hammell or SR thought a player was ready and able they would get the chance, until then we need to bring players in.

There seems to be this mistaken belief that the reserve team is full of players ready to step into the 1st team at a moment's notice, but if that was the case why are we signing players and spending cash we don't have lots of. I think the reality is there is nobody in the reserves ready and /or good enough to make the step up to the 1st team, that may change but not now

Stop talking shite, Carson hardly got his gloves dirty before he went off and Gillespie only had 1 or 2 saves to make. Hearts were feckin average at best it was a 0-0 all day long until we gifted them the goal.

Bigi for me, he was outstanding all game, that ball in for mchugh's goal was a thing of beauty, and the corner at the end right into the danger area, superb. Oh and a special mention for Sammon he is feckin awful .
