Bobby Allan, a true gentleman and a Motherwell diehard, 1st met him through the supporters association, he was very knowledgeable football wise and used to organise the association quiz nights, he was also a commentator helping out the blind and partially sighted supporters for years, although some of the commentary was a bit more down to earth than the BBC.

The fact that he could not break into the 1st team ahead of some of the utter dross we have seen at Fir park over the past couple of seasons tells you all you need to know about him, ie he was not good enough and never would be, surprised he was not away before now.

Unless we get an offer we can't refuse for Moult he will be staying for at least another season to see out his contract. If he has the talent and the right mindset then they should only need the 1 to impress, but that's him been at Fir park under 4 managers now and had a chance with all of them but not taken, so it implies that either he is not good enough, has a shit attitude or both. So for me time for him to move on.

Not for me he has had several chances to step up but never did, so I would be getting rid of him, obviously not good enough.

Ideally we need cover at both LB and RB, as I suspect Hammell won't go the full season injury free and given Tait's problems last season he might struggle a bit to get back to full fitness. But can we afford the luxury of cover for all positions?

Just read the roles of the SLO's on the Dunfermline site and can't help thinking why is the job needed in the 1st place. Surely all of those functions,assuming that they are similar for Motherwell are stuff that the club should be doing just now to keep supporters informed etc. It seems a lot of work for a volunteer to take on, but i still can't see the need for it.
