  1. Well said, even allowing for people working etc the home turn out was very poor, the Hearts fans turned up in numbers but ours did not which is disappointing
  2. The earlier kick off and the game live on TV were factors but agreed the home support was poor,
  3. Agreed very controversial Just seen the replay, looked to be nothing wrong with it, another shocking refereeing decision
  4. Was Nightshift last night so not at game just turned TV on and missed the disallowed goal what was it not given for.

    Top 6?

If you are comfortable in 5th, 6th or 7th place one of which we will likely end up in , with no chance of the title or Europe ( not counting cup wins) and nowhere near the playoffs or relegation, then does it really matter if you are top or bottom 6? Mid table mediocrity will do me this season, oh and another trip to Hampden for the Scottish cup final as a bonus
  6. It's a pity the game is off it would have been nice to go into the Hearts cup game only 1 behind them in the league as I think Aberdeen were there for the taking tonight. Still we have nothing to fear for Saturday any team managed by Levein are average at best.
  7. If the undersoil heating is on and the pitch is covered then it will be fine, the problem might be the local roads etc the police might seem it unsafe so game might be in doubt. I assume there will be an early pitch inspection.

    Top 6?

Not too fussed about the top 6 finish this year as no doubt we would end up with another 2 away games against the ugly sisters and unless we win the Scottish cup no chance of Europe. So a nice comfy bottom 6 finish in no danger of relegation or playoffs would do me. Plus we might get Accies at Fir park last game to pump them and send them down.
  9. As much as ii hope Moult settles and starts scoring, it's a step up for him and I just have this feeling that he might not be up to it, I can see him ending up as a fringe player and not getting a run in the team.
  10. I would say at least 2 or 3 wins to ensure safety the magic number always seems to be at least 40 points going on previous seasons, I don't think any team has gone down with that total.
  11. I see Bowman, Hendrie and Sid all started for the u20's today , beaten 2-1 by Ross county so not a good result.
  12. Why not merge both of them into liquidation then Scottish football can progress and the other 40 teams can enjoy it
  13. league position suggest otherwise. Better manager as well
  14. I wish it had been a penalty, it would have been the only bright spot in 45 mins of utter shite from both teams.
  15. Another tough draw but very winnable at-home Hearts are average at best. But the top 3 ranked teams drawn at home to the 3 lowest ranked teams in the draw, FFS no wonder the conspiracy theories are rife. It will be Celtic v Motherwell and Rangers v Aberdeen in the semi finals
  16. Great win today and another clean sheet as a bonus, now all we need is a home match against Falkirk, Morton or Kilmarnock in the quarters.
  17. Will always be a Motherwell legend after that last minute goal at Easter rd to get us to the 2005 league cup final.
  18. It seems that we are joint top of the league with Hearts when it comes to being the dirtiest teams in the league. "Hearts have been revealed as the dirtiest team in the Scottish Premiership alongside Motherwell, according to data from WyScout and Transfermarkt, only days after manager Craig Levein said players needed protection from Celtic captain Scott Brown. (Daily Record) So is it justified, are we a team of thugs or just being physical, given the standard of refereeing a lot of perfectly normal tackles seem to be penalised, especially against the blue and green ugly sisters as they always get more publicity.
  19. Only if you were a St Johnstone fan Motherwell were the better team the whole game and to be honest never in any danger. If we had passed the ball on the deck instead of trying to go long 1st half then it would have finished 3 or 4 nil.
  20. Only 1 choice tonight Alan Campbell he was outstanding, special mention for Kipre again the big man strolled it
