The team are playing shite..we are doing our best to throw away another european adventure..and all some folk have to moan about is fans trying to have a good time and generate some atmosphere...80,000 or 80 respect to them for making the effort. have to agree with that, we have needed an experienced centre half since Craigan left..he has not been replaced..if Saunders is fit and in the squad he should get a run in the team.

We got what we deserved from that game tonight..absolutely feck all...we had no creative play, too many individual mistakes, beaten for pace all night. Untd sat in and hit us on the break and in all honesty should have won by 2 or 3 goals...bad day at the office. I did not make the game on Saturday, just saw the highlights this morning...how the feck did we lose that game !!! the number of chances we missed was ridiculous, it should have been game over by half time. As for the red cards Kerr and Lasley can have no complaints, both deserved to go.

Have to agree that we are lightweight in midfield and have been all season..we get over run too easily and the defence does not get enough protection...but with no cash to bring a player in we need to work with what we have.

Why worry...i would not have been confident of keeping a clean sheet even if we had scored the pen...but two great oportunities missed Saturday and today..the gap at the top would have been 1 point !!!!! Still joint second though onwards and upwards

Thats the problem being a motherwell fan these days, for 5 or 6 years now we have become regular contenders / participants in Europe, culminating this season with our 1st taste of the champions league, and when you throw in the Scottish cup final we have regularly over achieved for the size of the team we are. So anything less than a European place and / or a good cup run is considered a dissapointment. Given the size of the squad we have and the quality of the players in that squad i think that SMC has done a great job so far, he is getting no help from the board with any cash to strengthen the team. Our home form is feckin woeful but we are sitting 3rd, and being able to close games out (ie St Mirren at home and Aberdeen away) would have seen us with another 4 points and joint top. So lets stop all this is SMC's time up pish and get behind the team, yes we have been dumped from 4 tournaments with not much of a fight but we were playing in them, season 2012-13 will show Uefa Champions league, Motherwell as one of Scotland participants and that memory will stay with me for a long time., so onwards and upwards and concentrate on the SPL and another 2nd place finish and another champions league adventure.
