I still like the idea of all the ST holders paying at the gate for the games against club 12, with 1500 or 2000 ST holders it would be a tidy sum raised. Plus it would generate some positive publicity and show the fuds at the SFA / SPL that Scottish football can survive without the Govan tax dodgers.

In previous seasons they have managed to get tickets printed and sold in short turnaround times, so its not impossible, it just seems strange that they are selling them possibly a full month before the game. Still bought mine today though

Thats the complaint i have as well, biggest game in the clubs history and we might have a ticket with TBC as opponnents and date on it, Maybe they will not get the tickets printed and issued until they know which one of the 4 teams we are getting

There are dark forces at work here, the SPL are doing their best to get the Hunco into div 1 and back into the SPL as soon as they can. The cynical bit in me cant help thinking that the day after the story breaks about a re-construction deal being done, all of the SPL clubs are falling over themselves in declaring a "No" vote. The SFA need to chake charge of this nonsense and get them expelled from Scottish football for good. If this had been any other team outwith the ugly sisters they would have been killed off months ago.

Why not ? I think we should be taking a short term financial punt, we only need to get through 1 round to ensure another 6 group stage games (Europa League) and all the rewards that brings. Sometimes you need to speculate to accumulate, bring in a decent player on a good wage, and you might get the rewards, you wont win the raffle if you dont buy the ticket.

Is it just me or does anybody else think that the spl have done a deal to put the newco in div 1 and not div 3 where they should be...they are doing their best to get them back asap...its bollocks...The SFA need to take charge and get rid of them for good...we will be better off without the sh**e they bring to football

Dont listen to the doom and gloom bullshit merchants about all the deparate times ahead if the blue ugly sister is not in the SPL. Clubs will survive...Scottish football will survive, yes all the clubs will have less income coming in and will need to re-budget accordingly but they will still operate. How many clubs relegated from the SPL and therefore receiving no income from the ugly sisters visits etc have went bust ? thats right..None. The rest of the SPL clubs need to send a message to the rest of the world and get rid of Rangers for good, its the only way scottish football can hope to have any degree of integrity or respect. They have cheated their way to sucess for years at the expense of every other club, this is payback time....only voting no will do.

As i understand it the old Rangers FC, (not the liqidated corporate entity but the football team that the corporate entity ran) are still members of the SPL and therefore entitled to a vote on any business. Legally it has no players, no ground etc but it is still a member club in name only.

Small squads are better, they are more focused, with no room for passengers or dead wood...we are a lean mean football machine.

Why would i be having a laugh ?? i am assuming the city clubs you are referring to are Hearts / Hibs , Dundee untd and Aberdeen, although technically there are now 5 as Perth is now a city, so St Johnstone are in there as well. from those 5 only Hearts and Dundee untd are likely to be any good, Aberdeen and Hibs are dross with no money to spend to improve and St Johnstone without Sandaza and a few others will struggle next year. Apart from the 2 ugly sisters the next best 3 teams (in no particular order) are Dundee untd, Motherwell and Hearts and will probably be that way for a few seasons. As it stands in Scotland the top 4 get Europe, top 5 some years depending on Cup winners etc, so all i am saying is that Motherwell are good enough to compete for a top 5 finish.

No dilemma for me, this might be the one and only time in my life that i can go to watch Motherwell away in the champions league, so i will be going, (my personal preference would be Kiev). Lets be honest we are likely to be Europa league contenders most years in the SPL so there will be lots of away trips there as we have seen in recent years. But this is the premier club football tournament in the world and for Motherwell to be in there is something i never thought i would see, so i will be there

Just to further complicate things, if Chelsea win the Champs league then, the portuguese and Russian teams, ie Braga and Spartak will be moved up to the CL playoff round, so seedings will change.
