  1. He might not have many more transfers in his career, so if Celtic do sign him maybe a 2 or 3 year deal on probably double the wage he's getting now he'll jump at it, it's a no brainer even if he was 2nd choice.
  2. Being honest playing in a team with far better defenders and midfield than we currently have, Kelly would be a much better keeper. He would not be so exposed as he is at Fir Park. Would be surprised if Celtic signed him as their first choice keeper though.
  3. We all like to see Kevin De Bruyne, or Harry Kane, Kyle walker etc sign for us but back in reality the market we operate in is scouring the world for the next " Bair pitch project" or some other player we can develop.
  4. I can see why sponsors want their names on shirts etc but for me they ruin the shirt. I've always said there should be a sponsor free option for fans that don't want to be walking adverts for some random company or product. I'm long past buying replica kit but it's a market the club has missed out on over the years by ruining nice strips with shit sponsors logos etc.
  5. The chair would be more mobile and more of a goal threat than Obika.
  6. Remember spoken to could mean " thanks for your service but we're not offering you a new deal" I think there will be a bit of a clear out come June, it will be interesting to see who's left.
  7. As the late Jimmy Sanderson used to say on radio Clyde super scoreboard " were you at the game caller" and never listened to any shite from those who answered no. Not as easy as that these days though all you need is a dodgy firestick and you can nearly be at the game from your living room and rant as much as you like with nobody to hear you....there's always a bonus 👍

There is no excuse at all for having these pyros and / or Fireworks at a football match someone is going to get badly injured one day. The SFA / SPFL have already fined clubs for using them etc so I won't be surprised if they do the same to Motherwell after yesterday. It's against the law to bring them into grounds , but we have the alleged stewards who do feck all to stop people bringing them into the stadium and then just stand and watch people setting them off and again do feck all, not to mention the police in the control room who no doubt have good CCTV coverage of it. Would people tolerate it if they were standing outside your house with a dozen or so lit flares etc no I think not so why should it be tolerated in a football ground.
  10. Aye right enough it would be too much of a strain for the players to attend a night out after another 3 games, opening those beers might be too much for them and spoil their 2 month Holidays.
  11. That's the problem the POTY event should be after the season has finished, the date was set with 4 games to go ffs its a nonsense.
  12. We were discussing that this at the Game Dave, 3 games to go and the goal of the season has been picked and we had the winner today in my opinion. The award should have been made after 38 games played, not 35.
  13. I'm still not convinced that Flamurtari mob from Albania were an actual football team they were so bad.
  14. A win and there's nothing virtual about it, we would be safe. Even if St Johnstone and RC also both win we would be 6 and 7 points ahead respectively , effectively 7 and 8 with our vastly better goal difference so they would both need 3 wins from the last 3 games and as they need to play each other that can't happen.
  15. It's the SFA we're talking about here a critical review and owning up to making a James Hunt of running Scottish football, operating VAR etc are not concepts they have any understanding of and never will, it will be another promotion from within to replace Crawford Allan who will do as they are told so they don't upset the existing clique.
  16. I would think It all depends on what conditions Mr McDiarmid the farmer who gifted the land to St Johnstone put on the transfer at the time. Maybe there are restrictions preventing it from being used for other purposes etc, so effectively rendering it unsaleable.
  17. I think it has to be Obiye up top with Bair that seems the obvious choice assuming SK will start with a defined front 2, as I hope he does. Nicholson might do a job in midfield but Oli Shaw should be nowhere near the team, he's contributed nothing since he came to the club.
  18. Is that not how refereeing is supposed to work, the ref ruling on the result/ outcome of a players actions?
  19. The managers and coaches are not just ex pros though are they, they have all taken on extensive training and coaching qualifications on no doubt all of the aspects required to be allowed to look after a top flight professional team. So when it comes to judging players they see every day at training, planning how to approach a game etc I know who I would rather have doing it and it's not somebody who watches from the stands and thinks they are Guardiola or Klopp.
  20. Of course players can challenge, but a straight leg studs up lunge that caught the Aberdeen player in the groin area is not a challenge its assault.
  21. Ah I see it's the " never mind working hard to get your UEFA coaching badges, just become a social outcast, spend all your time in the bedroom posting on forums, playing football manager or whatever its called on the PlayStation" argument that will serve you better, ok then
  22. Bullshit, if it had been the other way round would you have been screaming for a red card for the Aberdeen player, of course you would. Oh and whether there was any intent on Vales part is irrelevant, it was a reckless challenge that endangered an opponent, as I said red card in any league.
  23. Watch this, it was a Red card all day long, high tackle, straight leg, studs up, reckless etc etc. https://twitter.com/afc1903mad/status/1784337585864667351?t=oypvhiAlyiyF0mLH0VXZcg&s=19
  24. Me neither he can be really good but he's a potential bomb scare at times guaranteed at least one or two mistakes every game.
  25. I take your point RE Kelly, he's the last line of defence, if the defenders in front of him are not doing their job then it makes his job a lot harder. Stop the crosses coming in and you'll stop a lot of the goals we concede
